A lot of the items we review on Me, him, the dog and a baby are generally aimed at either Erin or something to do with the home. It’s not very often we get something sent for John. However, just recently we were sent the Globenfeld Chronograph Sports Watch and I knew straight away that John would love it.
As soon as the watch arrived, I was impressed with the packaging and the box that it came in. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people but if you’re giving something like this as a gift then presentation is really important. The silver presentation box looks of high quality and the watch is presented beautifully.
Unfortunately, the instructions that come with the watch are not that good. However, luckily the watch is really easy to set up. On the right hand side is a pull out knob which is how you alter the time etc. John had his watch set up and on his wrist within minutes of getting it out of the box.
Although this watch was not for me, I was seriously impressed with how it looked. The face is really quite beautiful and very detailed. The face and hands are really easy to see as it becomes illuminated in the dark. At first, John was a bit upset that it didn’t have a light like his old watch did but he wasn’t bothered after he realised he could see the time in the dark anyway.
Not only is the Globenfeld Chronograph Sports Watch lovely to look at but it has additional features such as a stopwatch and it is also water resistant. Now, this doesn’t mean go swimming with it, as it probably wouldn’t survive but a couple of splashes isn’t going to do it any harm.
