2018 Family Goals

June Goals

Since Erin arrived in the world I haven’t really put enough effort into some aspects of my life. There are loads of things I want to do/ think about doing but I seem to just never get round to them. I love a good list and I figured it would be a good idea to set myself some goals at the beginning of each month and then see how I did at the end.

My goals are going to be a real mix so here goes:

  • Learn more about plugins – I’ve just moved the blog over to a domain and it’s also now hosted so I have a whole range of new things I can do with it that I have no idea about. I’ve managed to sort out some of the basics but I’d like to see what else there is.
  • Read a chapter a day – Oh I miss reading. I don’t get a lot of time at the minute and I have a stack of books waiting to be read. I think the only way to go at the minute is a chapter a day and work through them slowly.
  • Take Erin swimming – I do actually take Erin to a swimming class once a week but I’d really like to take her on my own just for fun at some point as well to get her to like the water a bit more.
  • 3 meals a day – I guess I could say this is for both me and Erin. I am terrible for forgetting to eat during the day and I know how much it annoys John. I know I need to make more of an effort. I also want to get Erin onto 3 meals a day now. She’s doing so well with weaning and loves food so it seems natural to add in that extra meal now.

It’s always best to start off slow so I’ll see how these go and update you next month. Do you make goals for yourself every month?
