Meal Plan Monday: Guest Posts

Welcome to Meal Plan Monday, our weekly feature where we talk all things Meal Plan. Today’s post is a bit different from normal because I’m not really going to talk about meal plans at all.

Meal Plan MondayMeal Plan Monday is a regular, weekly feature and I love to see all kind of opinions on the subject. Some people swear by meal planning while others just don’t get on with it at all. I don’t think I have seen any one doing their plans exactly the same as anyone else yet!

We’re always open to guest posts for Meal Plan Monday and in fact, this is what this whole post is about! We’re looking specifically for guest posts focusing on why meal planning doesn’t work!

We’ve had quite a few posts about how good meal planning is, how it saves families money etc. but nothing about families who have tried but not got on well with it. Is this you?!

Of course, we’re always open to positive guest posts as well but a  bit of diversity would be fantastic.

Guest posts need to be the following:

  • 400+ words
  • Include at least 1 image
  • Include any blog/ social media links

  1. I’m never quite organised enough to do a meal plan although I do always have a rough idea in my head for the week. it doesn’t always go quite to plan though! I do like to get ideas from others cos it helps me break out of the routine a bit.

  2. Meal plans don’t work for us as we very rarely eat as a family 🙁 Stacey is at secondary school and some days she’ll eat a cooked meal while she’s there and other days she won’t. Then due to our weird working hours Nathan and I hardly ever eat together. And none of us like our meals warming up so I can’t cook and then serve it as people get home. It’s such a shame as I really love the idea of meal planning.

  3. I like the idea of meal plans, but I never seem to stick to them. They are pretty good for getting a rough idea of meals so you don’t buy too much at the shop though!
