Love Millie: Customisable Clothes Review

I love getting new clothes for Erin. Her wardrobe is overflowing and she has way better clothes than both me and John. Recently the opportunity arose for us to try out a couple of products from Love Millie, who specialises in customisable clothes for children.

With Erin being 18 months old we ordered from the ‘Baby Clothes’ which run from birth to 24 months old. Children’s clothes go from 3 to 13 years. While there are loads of options for sizes, I feel that there could be more. I ordered Erin’s clothes in 12-24 months and there is a very big difference between a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a size for children between 2 and 3.

The baby range has options such as bibs, body suits, t-shirts and hoodies! Each can be customised in so many ways. You are able to choose a colour, a hair style and colour for the face that will go on the front, as well adding a name and accessories if you want to. I chose the t-shirt and hoody for Erin!

When the products arrived, the first thing I noticed was the quality of the material. The cotton is so super soft that I actually want one of these for myself. The faces printed on the clothes are fantastic, and are as close to looking like Erin as I could get. The yellow hair is made from felt so it’s lovely and fuzzy. Erin is obsessed with anything that has a texture at the moment so she loves touching this bit.

The size of these items are near enough just right for Erin. The t-shirt is a lovely fit right now but the hoody is a bit too big, meaning it will be great in the autumn when it gets a bit chilly. Although these are pretty great for her now, they would have drowned her at 12months old and the t-shirt will definitely be too small by the time she is 2. I think it would be better to order up if you can, just to be on the safe side with the sizes.

I am so pleased with these clothes. The t-shirt has washed really well and it still looks as good as new. I’ll definitely be getting Erin more from Love Millie in the future!
