When I started planning Erin’s 1st birthday party I was determined to have a theme. I don’t know why. I just wanted to. The woman who was doing the entertainment could do something on a theme as well and I figured that a farm theme would suit everyone, with it being unisex!
It all started with some proper party invitations! I know a lot of this can be done line now and in Facebook chat groups to make things quick and easy but I think a party requires a real invitation. These come in packs of 8 for £1.50.
In terms of tableware we had everything we could possibly need. We had cups, large plates for the adults, small plates for the children, serving platters, napkins, party hats and two huge plastic tablecloths.
The tableware was so bright and fun and so many people commented on how nice it was! It was also really good quality. Some party plates are quite cheap and get soggy depending on what you serve but this was not the case at all with these! When we cleared up at the end of the party a lot of the plates looked like they hadn’t even been used!
The tablecloths were probably my favourite part of the decor! They were so big and fit the tables we were supplied perfectly. As you can see from the pictures above, they’re really bright and fun and the children had loads of fun looking at them but also, hiding underneath them!
I am so impressed with everything we used. Everything cost under £30 and that was enough for 16 people. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Party Bags and Supplies for Erin’s birthday next year. The quality is amazing and the prices are fab. There are loads of different themes available too so there’s something for everyone!
What themes do you like for birthdays?
