Hotel Review: Premier Inn London City (Tower Hill)

I never like to stay in the same place twice when we go to London. I don’t know why. I guess it would make sense to stick with a hotel if we really like it but I like to stay in different areas where possible and discover something new. On our last trip we stayed in the Premier Inn London City which is in the Tower Hill area of London. Premier Inn London City is about a 20 minute walk from London Liverpool Street if you fancy walking but it’s also only 2 stops away on the tube. I made

Hotel Review: Luma Concept Hotel, London

Back in July we headed to London for a few days as a family so that I could go to Bubble London. I always like to try to look for new and different hotels for us to stay at and somewhere I’d never stayed before is Hammersmith. I discovered the area a few weeks prior when I went to see Penn & Teller and couldn’t wait to stay there. I’d picked out the Luma Concept Hotel, even though it was brand new and only been open for a matter of weeks. Before we arrived, I had a mad panic and

Hotel Review: Motel One, Manchester

In April I attended my first ever Blog On Conference. The trip to Manchester from Norfolk was a very long one, especially with a toddler in tow. Actually, John sorted Erin out for the majority of the train journey while I either slept or watched YouTube videos. Having only been to this city once about 10 years ago, I made sure I booked a hotel as close to the train station as possible and that was Motel One Manchester. There aren’t many hotels closer than this, with it being a short walk away. When I say short, it’s across the road.

Hotel Review: Avni Kensington Hotel

A couple of weeks ago I spent a night in London when I went to see Penn & Teller at the Eventim Apollo. Normally I would stay in a chain hotel if I had Erin and John with but seeing as I was on my own, I went for a bit of a cheaper hotel. This time I stayed at the Avni Kensington Hotel, located between Gloucester Road and Earl’s Court tube stations. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from Gloucester Road tube station and it’s in a really nice area. I have stayed in some London hotels

ibis Styles London Kensington Hotel Review

I have been to London quite a lot already this year and it’s only June, with another trip booked for a couple of weeks time. I really hate staying in the same hotels in London because there is so much choice. One of our recent stays was in the ibis Styles London Kensington.   The ibis Styles London Kensington is situated a 5 minute walk away from Earl’s Court tube station so it is really accessible from anywhere in London. Earl’s Court is also an accessible station which made things a hell of a lot easier having Erin with us. Our

Holiday Inn Express Park Royal – London

It seems as though I’ve been to London a hell of a lot recently and actually, I have compared to how much I normally go. Back in April I went for a couple of days away without John or Erin. I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Park Royal which is in North Action. Being located in North Acton means that the hotel is not in the centre of London. The good news though is that you can get the tube to North Acton station and you’re looking at about a 20 minute journey from Leicester Square area.

Hotel Review: ibis Cambridge Central

At the beginning of April John, Erin and myself headed off to Cambridge for a last minute weekend away. When I say last minute, I mean I booked it the evening before we went. Not like me at all. Having never been to Cambridge before I had no idea where to stay by my sister recommended the ibis Cambridge Central. The ibis Cambridge Central can be found right at Cambridge Train Station so it’s in a fantastic location is this is how you’re traveling. From here you have about a 15 minute walk into the center of Cambridge. I didn’t
