My First JCB Stacking Stanley Review

AD | Gifted item Last week we were hit with some pretty intense weather. The Beast From The East hit us quite badly in Norfolk and we found ourselves being stuck at home from Tuesday to Saturday. Even though it was cold I wanted to get Erin outside, at least for a little while. This is the first time Erin has really experienced snow and I hate for her to be cooped up indoors for too long. While the snow is fun on its own, Erin doesn’t really know what to do with it yet

Peppa Pig ‘My Floor Puzzle’ Review

Erin is a huge Peppa Pig fan and snorts like a pig as soon as it comes on television or she sees something with Peppa on it. Up until recently, Erin has never really done puzzles before. We have had plenty of shape sorters but nothing like a puzzle. To get Erin started we thought the Peppa Pig ‘My First Floor Puzzle’ from Ravensburger would be good. The puzzle costs around £10 and is suitable for children aged 2+. Being a puzzle for very young children there are only 16 pieces. I think that this

BRIO Classic Figure 8 Review

One of Erin’s favourite toys is her BRIO wooden pram. She loved it from the minute she got it and plays with it every single day. So, when we had the opportunity to try the BRIO Classic Figure 8 set we jumped at the chance. Erin has a massive love for trains and knows as soon as we get near the train station where we are going. In the box you get: 14 pieces of train track 3 trees 1 train station 1 bridge 3 pieces of train The set is really easy to put together

Peppa Pig Water Filled Muddy Puddle Review

Peppa Pig is one of the few television shows that Erin will happily watch and enjoy. She ‘oinks’ at the television when it comes on and it was one of the first things she really recognised. At times I feel like Paw Patrol and In The Night Garden taken over so when I saw the Peppa Pig Water Filled Muddy Puddle from Bladez Toyz, I fell in love a bit. That was just me, Erin hadn’t even seen it! Before the mat can be played with it takes a little bit of setting up. John set ours

ITNG Twinkling Lullaby Iggplepiggle Review

For months and months Erin was crazy about one only television show and we would watch next to nothing else with her. Just recently though, Erin has developed a love for In The Night Garden (ITNG) and it is now part of her bedtime routine. With the clocks changing recently, we were sent the Twinkling Lullaby Iggplepiggle and it couldn’t have come at a better time! When you get any kind of toy that includes a battery pack you don’t expect them to feel quite as soft and cuddle as they should. That’s not the case

Orchard Toys: Animal Shapes Review

AD | Gifted item Now that the weather is getting worse and we end up inside most of the day now, I’m always looking for new things to do with Erin. We’ve recently discovered Orchard Toys and they have such a great variety of activities for children starting at 18 months old. We were sent the Animal Shapes Game for Erin to try! As soon as Erin saw the book she was excited! She already knows what a lot of animals are either by their real name or by what noise they make. She grabbed

Sands Alive Starter Set Review

AD | Gifted item When we attended Blog On back in September we received a sample of Sands Alive and even before I let Erin play with it, I was a bit in love! We recently received one of the Sands Alive Starter Sets to review and I couldn’t wait to let Erin get stuck in! I had set up our Sands Alive set while Erin was asleep so that she would hopefully be excited to see something new when she woke up. This set comes with 450g of the super soft modelling sand and

Peppa Pig Interactive Play Mat Review

Erin is only really into a couple of children’s television shows. She’s a massive fan of Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig but not much else to be honest. I try and try to get her to like something else but she’s not having any of it. We recently received the Peppa Pig Interactive Play Mat to review and was so excited when she saw it. The play mat retails for roughly £19.99 and comes ready to be used, which is pretty perfect when you have a 22 month old who is trying to rip the box
