With Christmas just over 7 weeks away it’s really time to start thinking about doing some shopping and buying some gifts. I have quite a few women to buy for in my family and I sometimes struggle with ideas. Of course, these items aren’t all solely aimed at women but I’ve picked them as I know they are things the people I buy for would like.
Personally, I love a day out whether that be shopping, a city trip or going to a nice restaurant. Sometimes it’s hard to be able to treat yourself to something like this which is why the Days Out Together Smartbox from Red Letter Days is such a good idea. There are over 2000 experiences to choose from including theatre tickets, cocktail masterclasses and meals out, just to name a few!
Clothes can be a tricky thing to buy someone. Something I personally love to wear are leggings but it can be hard to find a really good pair. The classic leggings from Love Leggings are thick, comfortable and come in plenty of different colours, 17 to be exact. I wear a lot of navy and colours that go with navy so this was an easy choice for me. You could choose anything from black to red wine or chocolate brown.
Last year we got a beautiful Willow Tree figurine showing a father and daughter together. Since then I have wanted something to match and this Willow Tree Mother and Daughter Figurine is just the thing! This would make a beautiful gift for so many people whether they collect Willow Tree already or not!
I am terrible for not looking after myself well enough and that includes looking after my hair. The OSMO Deep Moisture gift set is available from Sally Beauty and contains shampoo, conditioner and an intensive deep repair mask. Everyone has that person to buy for who they might not quite know well enough and this would be a really good choice for them.
Maybe you’re looking to buy a gift this year for someone who is always so busy and doesn’t relax enough. A pamper hamper would made a really lovely gift and you could fill it with all kinds of products. T-Zone have a great range of face masks, along with other products, that won’t break the bank.
Another lovely product to add to a pamper hamper is the Procoal Charcoal Exfoliating Face Scrub. It helps to remove dead skin cells, promotes natural exfoliation and helps restores skin’s water balance, leaving the face feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. Other products are also available in the range.
My sister is a really creative person and she loves to draw and colour. If you have someone similar to shop for this year then why not consider the Derwent Tropical Gift Tag Colouring Set. The set includes 6 Procolour Pencils, 5 Coloursoft Pencils, 1 Artists Pencil and 5 gift tags. The handy lightweight tin means that the set can be taken anywhere easily and it won’t take up a lot of space!
With the film being released this year, the Downton Abbey Cocktail book* could be an ideal gift for any fan. The book has photos from the film as well as 50 fantastic cocktail recipes, ranging from classics to character-specific twists. The drinks are also sorted into locations to drinks and occasions that they’d be great for such as party drinks in The Great Hall.
Do you have a foodie in the family? Maybe you know a friend who loves to try different cuisines. Judy Joo’s Korean Soul Food book* is full of Korean recipes from snacks to street food. There are over 100 recipes to try and the book is full of helpful tips about Korean cooking and the items you’ll need to create a delicious meal.
Hopefully you will have seen something of interest in these products. As I said before, they’re not all just for women so maybe you can think of someone else who might like something here!
