Review: LOVELOX Heart Personalised Silver Locket

A few years ago I had a necklace made that had Erin’s fingerprint on it from being maybe a year or so old. Sadly, I no longer have that necklace and have been looking for something to replace it for a while. Up until recently I wasn’t sure what I wanted though but I knew that it had to be something meaningful. I was recently sent a beautiful locket from LOVELOX, and it really fit the bill of what I was looking for.

Lockets from LOVELOX are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes as well as coming in both gold and sterling silver. I was sent the Heart Personalised Silver Locket, which can also be customised (additional costs apply). This was something quite important to me as it meant that I was able to make the locket mean something really special to me.

Inside the locket you are able to add 2 different photos. I spent such a long time deciding which photos I wanted to use. Sadly, most of my baby photos of Erin are quite bad quality and I didn’t want them to look rubbish inside the locket. So instead I went for some more recent photos of me and Erin, of us having fun somewhere, so I can look back at these times! Uploading the photos is really easy and you can move them around, resize and crop them as needed so that they fit nicely in the space inside the locket. I really found this step helpful because it meant that I could see exactly what I was going to end up with.

You can also have your locket engraved if you want to. I went for something simple using Erin’s date of birth and time of birth. As the outside of this particular locket is quite plain I think the engraving adds something a little bit more special to it and of course, makes it more personal to me. Although the date and time are things I won’t ever forget, it just adds that something extra to the locket.

I’m really impressed not only with the design options and how easy it is to put your locket together on the LOVELOX website but the quality is fantastic. The images I chose came out really well and they’re lovely and clear and the engraving on the front of the locket looks really nice. This is definitely something I would consider buying for someone as a gift!
