This summer we spent nearly a whole week staying in Greenwich on a trip to London, somewhere we had never been before. I was so surprised at how much there was to do there and especially as a family. Actually, there was so much to do that we missed out on a lot, including the planetarium.
When we started planning our trip to London in August and our stay in Greenwich, we didn’t really know what there was to do or what would be suitable for Erin. However, we found that actually, there was a lot to do and a lot of great museums to visit, including the National Maritime Museum.
During the summer we had a 5 night break in London and were based in Greenwich. Initially, we had 3 nights booked at Staycity Greenwich High Road but we wanted to extend our stay and the Premier Inn Greenwich came up at a great price.
For the longest time Erin has been asking to go to the London Eye. It was something we were supposed to do in 2020 but for obvious reasons we weren’t able to get to London. Instead we made something that was a must do on a trip to London this summer.
This summer we stayed in London for 5 nights, staying in Greenwich. I had a booking with Staycity rearranged from 2020 and we chose to stay at Staycity Greenwich High Road for the last 3 nights of our visit to London.
In August we visited London for a huge 5 nights and although a lot of our time was spent in Greenwich we also wanted to do some things in central London. Somewhere that opened up to the public this year for the first time was The Garden at Buckingham Palace so I thought this would be a really nice place to visit.
AD | Press trip When it comes to travelling as a family we always look for somewhere that can meet as many of our needs as possible. This really depends on the trip that we’re taking and what we plan on doing. It could be that we need somewhere just to get our heads down at night or maybe we need somewhere a little bit more special for an occasion.
AD | Press trip I don’t have many photos from when I was a child but one that I remember seeing is of me and my sister with the gorilla statue at London Zoo. I’ve wanted to get a photo like this with Erin for quite some time so on a recent trip to London it was the perfect time to spend the day at the zoo.
