Carat* London Carissa necklace review

Carat* London Carissa necklace review

When it comes to jewellery, I like my pieces to be quite simple. I prefer classic designs without a lot of fuss to them; something I can wear with everything. I’ve recently discovered Carat* London, who have a beautiful jewellery range.

If you’re looking for something really special to buy either as a gift or for yourself, the Carissa necklace is an absolute stunner! Before we even get to the necklace, the packaging and presentation are both wonderful. The white jewellery box came tied with Carat* London branded ribbon, tied in a lovely bow and covering both corners of the next. Imagine being presented with this. No doubt you’d be excited to see what’s inside the box.

The Carissa necklace is available in both Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil, both finished with Cubic Zirconia stones. The stones are really delicate, with 3 larger stones in the middle then 3 smaller stones on either side. This is a lovely amount as they’re not too flashy or in your face. With the stones being quite small, they won’t overpower any outfit but instead, look classy and classic.

Something I prefer with necklaces is a longer chain and this necklace is perfect for that. The slider closure, something I’ve never seen before, means that you can alter the chain to suit you. At it’s longest the chain is 70cm so you can really wear this in quite a few different ways.

You can wear the necklace short with a long back, which looks stunning if you’re wearing a top with a low back. Alternatively, wear looser at the front with a shorter back if you prefer this kind of look instead.

Another idea would be to layer it up with other necklaces. You might have other gold necklaces in varying lengths and they would look great paired with this one for a bit of a different look.

With Christmas not too far away, I know a lot of us will be thinking about gifts soon, if not already! Carat* London have plenty of other jewellery options, such as tennis bracelets for women, rings and earrings. I really like that they have some different designs from what I’m used to seeing.
