Product review: Kidloland App

Before hearing about this product, I can’t say that I was planning on using technology to entertain Erin. Well, not quite yet anyway. However, Erin is really interested in my phone because it’s bright so the Kidloland App sounded perfect for us.

Kidloland is an educational app with hundreds of nursery rhymes, games and things to do! With our year long subscription we have access to all of the content but if you don’t have the subscription then there are charges for downloads. New content is added regularly too!

The app is available for download on both Android and iOS so there is an option for everyone. I have the app downloaded both on my mobile phone and on my Kindle Fire so I have an option to use it, no matter what. Batteries die etc. and sometimes Erin needs something really exciting! I will say that because of how much downloadable content there is on this app, you need to make sure you have enough space on your device.

I was a bit unsure as to how Erin would react to the app. She’s only 6 months old so doesn’t understand anything about technology yet. All she knows is bright colours and songs are interesting!

Erin is absolutely fascinated by Kidloland.

Her eyes are transfixed on the screen as she watches what is going on. She has tried to reach out for it and touch it numerous times, which does sometimes mean the app is closed by accident!

Erin might not get that much out of this app at the minute but it’s super useful for both me and my husband as parents. I am absolutely useless at remembering words to nursery rhymes but this app shows them so we can all sing along. I also sometimes have brain block when it comes to thinking of things to do with Erin. Kidloland is my go to now when I can’t think of anything.

I love that there are so many different things to do on this app. We can sing nursery rhymes, figure out animal sounds, the days of the week or even fruit and veg. This will be an app we use all of the time. There is so much that Erin can learn from it, and in a fun way as well.

As a family, we love Kidloland. A year’s subscription costs £29.99. This sounds expensive but it includes all of the content available… and there is a lot! For about £2.50 a month your children can be entertained and learn at the same time.
