Adventurer’s Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Adventurer's Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Something I love most in life is to travel and discover new places. I love holidays, hotel stays, weekends away and delicious meals. Now, these places may be abroad, they may be in the UK and they might be right on our doorstep in Norfolk. Today’s post is a bit different. Today is the Adventurer’s Christmas Gift Guide.

If you know someone who loves going abroad a passport cover is a great gift to give. Maid In China have something really unique for anyone who loves to travel. This Stitch Passport cover comes complete with needle and thread for you to mark off the places you’ve been. There’s also a matching luggage tag! At £25, this is a really lovely gift and really reasonably priced.

I love bringing back a keepsake from every holiday or place we go to so if you know someone who likes travelling, they’re bound to do the same! Maria Allen have gorgeous glass postcard keepsake boxes that you can personalise. These cost £37 but they are so special! We have one for Erin and we have started to get her a postcard from wherever we go, writing a message for her to read in years to come!

Maybe you know someone who prefers camping to beach holidays! Something that can be a bit of a pain is cooking while away or getting to the campsite and being starving. The Wonderbag is a ‘non-electric portable slow cooker. It continues to cook food which has been brought to the boil by conventional methods for up to 12 hours without the use of additional electricity or fuel.’ This means you can start to cook something before you leave home and it will cook in the bag while you travel, meaning you have a hot cooked meal for when you arrive! Wonderbags start at £35.

Being a busy family with a small child means that sometimes we might not be able to afford weekends away or nice meals out. Giving an experience as a gift would be amazing for anyone, not just people who like to travel. Buyagift.com have such a fantastic range of experiences to choose from such as a One Night Break at The Links Country Park Hotel or Sparkling Afternoon Tea at the Beechwood Hotel for Two. Prices vary depending on the experience by most can also be exchanged for something different on the website should the recipient prefer something else.

One of the worse things about travelling sometimes, especially if you’re camping or going somewhere cold, is being cold! Zippo’s reusable 12 hour hand warmers are refillable and cost £23.95. The hand warmer is slim enough and light enough to carry around with you without it weighing you down or taking up too much space and is the perfect travel accessory!

I hope you’ve found a bit of inspiration in today’s gift guide! I know I would be super happy with any of these gifts. Let me know what you’d love in the comments.
