No one should feel ashamed of their scars but Bio Oil understand that so many women do. I have hidden my own scars plenty of times. My body has changed a lot since being a teenager. I have plenty of stretchmarks on my stomach, boobs and arms. Now aged 30, I have had a baby who was born via emergency c-section. I have scars on my arms from stupidly burning myself on the oven. Some scars I don’t care about showing off at all.
Recently, I have been more and more aware of the scars that having my daughter has left. An emergency c-section and then a second surgery a week later has left me with a terrible scar on my stomach. Honestly, I hate it. I go as far as to hide it from my husband a lot of the time, unless I need him to check on it because it gets infected still.
