AD | Gifted item For as long as I can remember Erin has been a messy child. When we were weaning food would go everywhere. When Erin was at her previous nursery she would come home covered in absolutely everything. Now, she loves painting, Play Doh and spreading out with whatever she is playing with. Of course, this means certain areas at home getting messier than I would like or for us to need a bit of protection from the mess. We were recently sent the Messy Mat from Messy Me to help us out and we’re giving one away at the
AD – This post is in collaboration with Mighty Fine. All opinions are our own. On an evening there is not much better than sitting with a delicious bag of chocolatey goodness and just chilling out with a good TV show or film. Although we both have our favourite treats, John and I love to try something new and we couldn’t wait to tuck into the goodies that we were sent from Mighty Fine. Before now, I honestly hadn’t heard of Mighty Fine but I am so glad I know about them now. Mighty Fine first started back in 2014

Sometimes Erin gets into a mood where she doesn’t really want to play with toys. She’s such a creative child and she would much prefer to do something arty or crafty so I have a cupboard stocked full of things for her to do. One of her favourites though is to play with dough. She asks for it over and over again but just playing with the dough on its own can get a bit boring. Recently we were sent the Nick Jr. Ready Steady Dough Super Duper Dough Set and Erin was super excited as soon as she saw it.
Way back when I was 17 I worked for a very well-known shoe shop and I was also the assistant manager of a children’s shoe shop when I lived in Toronto. During these times I measured and fitted so many children with the perfect shoes so I know how important it is to look after children’s feet. Recently, I discovered a brand who feel the same way. Dotty Fish have a gorgeous range of soft soled baby shoes and you can find out more about them, and their benefits below. Be sure to enter the giveaway at the end of
What an absolutely miserable week we’ve been having. We have been snowed in for a good chunk of the week and Erin’s nursery was closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Not only did we have all of the snow outside but we have horrible drafty windows so we were really feeling it inside as well! So, what better way to cheer everyone up than with a giveaway from KISS Nails? If you’re anything like me then you probably won’t have the time to paint your nails or to keep them looking nice for more than a couple of hours at
It still surprises me how many people haven’t been introduced to air fryers yet. I have to admit, we were pretty late to the game but we are most definitely converted. Today, I’ll be telling you all about the Sensio Home Air Fryer, what we think of it and you’ll even have a chance to win one for yourself. The Sensio Home Air Fryer is really easy to use. Unlike some air fryers there are no digital controls on this one. The top dial controls the heat setting and the lower dial controls the timer. Once you have these two set then you’re
When I became a parent I tried to promise myself that I would make more time to keep the house as clean and tidy. Before Erin was born both John and I worked full time and sometimes had to blitz the house in one go just to get it done. What some people seem to forget though is that children are messy… a lot of the time and things get in the way of best made plans. However, someone that does understand this is ACE. ACE have a great motto of ‘Remove the stains, keep the memories’ and I love this!
