Products To Make Christmas Dinner A Breeze

AD | Gifted

When it comes to Christmas dinner there always tends to be one person who does the cooking. In our house it’s me that cooks. We have a tiny galley kitchen so there isn’t a lot of room in there and I hate other people getting in my way while I’m cooking. Everyone knows not to offer to help me cook because they know what the answer will be. I know that puts quite a lot on me, especially for Christmas Day but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Luckily, Joseph Joseph sent us some products to make Christmas dinner a breeze!

This year we are having my mum, sister and her fiance to stay over Christmas and we have three vegetarians and two meat eaters. While John isn’t overly fussed if meat touches something my sister really is so when I saw the Index Steel chopping board set I knew that it would solve loads of problems for me.

This set comes in a stainless steel case so it will look super stylish no matter how your kitchen is decorated. Inside the case you get four colour coded chopping boards suitable for raw meat, vegetables, fish and cooked food. I love that even though the boards are colour coded they also have pictures of what they should be used for on the tabs at the top.

Our old chopping boards all pretty much looked the same and when using a few different ones while cooking I could easily get confused. These boards are bright, colourful and look fantastic in our kitchen.

As our kitchen is really small we also like to use space saving products where possible. This set fits really well down the side of our bread bin so it stays out of the way when we don’t need it but easy enough to access when we do.

It’s inevitable that Christmas dinner comes with one thing; left overs. I always cook way too much and there is always enough left over for a couple of meals the next day. The problem is, we end up cooking food in one dish and then transferring it to something else to store either in the fridge or freezer. The washing up created on Christmas Day is already too much so anything to help this is amazing!

The Nest Glass Storage set solves a lot of problems for us. The set comes with four glass containers in varying sizes along with plastic lids. The glass containers can be used in the oven so they’re perfect for cooking a whole range of things. They can also be used in the microwave and then stored in both the fridge and freezer! Even better than that though is that they are thermal shock resistant which means you can take them straight out of the freezer and put them straight into the oven!

As each of the glass storage containers are different sizes they fit perfectly inside one another. They take up a small amount of space in the cupboard but the lids are so bright and colourful that they are easy to locate quickly!

Joseph Joseph always think up the most useful of products and these are going to make cooking Christmas dinner a lot easier for me!

I’d love to know what makes your life easier in the kitchen. Let me know in the comments!
