Shuffle Paw Patrol Card Game Review

AD | Includes gifted item and affiliate links

Paw Patrol was one of the first cartoons that I really remember Erin liking and now aged 4 she loves it just as much. I’m not sure we get through even one day without watching at least one episode. Getting Erin to pay attention to games can sometimes be quite tricky depending on what kind of mood she’s in but I thought maybe if we had one using her favourite characters we might have a better chance. During our time at home recently we’ve been playing Shuffle Paw Patrol (AD).

This game is aimed at children over 4 and it can be played with 2-4 players. Inside the box there are 36 playing cards with a mix of character cards and special cards. You begin the game by laying all of the cards picture down on the floor and taking it in turns to turn over 2 cards at a time.

Each character (Chase, Marhsall, Skye etc.) have a set of 3 cards that you need to collect. If on your turn you turn over 2 of those you get to keep them. You then need to find the third card on another turn. If you don’t find a match on your go then you need to turn those cards back over again.

There are also some special cards inside the pack. If you turn one of these over you get to keep it no matter what and if you get two that match, you can have another go but they must be given up after this. This means that if you’re only looking for one card to complete a set you could get another shot at it earlier!

We have really enjoyed playing Shuffle Paw Patrol. Erin is able to get through most of the game by following the rules and only near the end does she decide she really wants to win and then cheats a bit. The good thing though is that she knows all of the characters and knows what she needs to look for to complete a collection.

This is a really fun game for any Paw Patrol fan and Erin really enjoys playing it. Another thing I love about it is that it comes in a travel sized box. We go away quite a bit and we struggle to take games with us as we always use public transport. This kind of game is great for popping in a bag, whether you are going away for a night or a week!
