It’s been a few years now since I decided to be self-employed full time and I quit my part time job at a supermarket. It wasn’t a decision that was made easily and it was something that I really had to work towards before I could commit to it. Over the years, I have learned a lot about blogging and some of the things that can make my job easier. Aura Print kindly sent me some beautiful business cards to help me out!
Being self-employed, a full time blogger, is something that takes a lot of effort and there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that a lot of people don’t know about. From time to time I go to events, review restaurants, days out and events and these kinds of things require me to network and socialise. When you’re self-employed it’s all on you to make sure that your business does well and you do the best that you possibly can. In situations such as this it’s important to go prepared and having business cards can be a real advantage.
I have recently worked with Aura Print on a review of their thick business cards, although there are various options to choose from on the website. Not only can you choose the type of business card you would like but also things like size, whether they are single or double sided and even the type of paper they are printed on.
Aura Print offer a design service where you are able to tell them what you want in a business card and they will design something for you. It was really easy for me to say what I wanted on both the front and back of the business card and a rough idea about what area I wanted things in. As I already have brand logos for my website and social media I knew that I wanted these to be included on the business card and I was able to email over the images ahead of the card being designed.
I was emailed a draft of my business card before it was printed and sent so that I could check all of the details were correct or if I wanted anything to be changed. I was really impressed with the service here and the design I’d been sent over. Aura Print had used the colours in my brand logo for the text and social media information as well as carrying on the grey colour on the front of the card.
When my business cards arrived I couldn’t wait to get them open to see them properly. The quality is fantastic and the thicker card type makes these business cards feel that bit more special than normal. My brand logos look fantastic and the colour scheme used all looks great together. I’m so happy with my new business cards from Aura Print and I would definitely use them again should I need any more. Now all I need is for events to start up again so I can use them!
