AD | We've been to London so many times now and we AD | We've been to London so many times now and we're always looking for something different to do. @twist_museum was exactly that!

Just a short walk from Oxford Circus tube station, Twist Museum offers over 80 different exhibits with something exciting to see around every corner. Whether it's a mind-bending illusion to a fun interactive room, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

We had a great time figuring out some of the different exhibits, seeing how things worked and whether or not me and Erin saw some things the same way. It was great to see Erin so excited everytime she found something new and interesting, or figured out how something worked.

There are lockers available if you want to store your bags etc. before walking around, as well as toilets near the gift shop.

Visits last around 60-90 minutes, depending on how long you take to look around or take pictures. We visited in February half term so it was pretty busy and we had a short wait for some of the more popular areas.

The best Valentine's Day with the best girl! It's The best Valentine's Day with the best girl!

It's taken us a few years but Erin and I finally managed a trip to @christophescrepes for their Valentine's platter. A board full of heart shaped mini pancakes, fruit, whipped cream and dips meant that there was plenty for the two of us to share.

We both had our favourites, and a surprise for Erin was liking the white chocolate to dip as much as she did. I loved trying a bit of everything, even raspberries which I don't normally like.

This was such a fun way to spend Valentine's Day this year and we had the best time.
A relatively new find for us in Norwich is @cosmic A relatively new find for us in Norwich is @cosmic_jos and it's shot right up to the top of our favourites list!

Not only is this a super cool shop, where you can get Pop figures, collectibles and pins, but there's an awesome cafe tucked away in the back.

With Grilled Cheese sandwiches (that come with crisps) only costing £4, and the most amazing pancakes at £7.95, this is a really affordable place for a family lunch. Erin and I couldn't decide so we shared a little bit of everything, including a delicious cookies and cream milkshake. There's vegan options too!

The only problem here is, you might want to buy so much while you're there! Me and Erin picked up a few new pins each to add to our collections, but we could have spent loads.

Me and Erin try to go to the cinema at least once Me and Erin try to go to the cinema at least once a month, thanks to our free tickets for being a @skytv cinema customer.

Usually I have a list of things I'd like to see, but I have no idea what's coming out over the next few months.

What are you looking forward to this year at the cinema?
I've been drooling over posts about @gonzostearoom I've been drooling over posts about @gonzostearoom for far too long so it was about time me and Erin visited for lunch!

Although it doesn't scream family friendly from the outside, we were welcomed immediately and actually, there was only 1 table there without children during our visit.

Even before looking at the menu I knew the poutine would be my choice, having missed them since living in Canada. Erin went for a cheeseburger and I also got some chicken strips.

I'm assuming there isn't a children's menu as we weren't offered one but this meant Erin's meal was stupidly big with an adult price tag to match. It’s safe to say she didn't even nearly finish her food, which is just a bit of a waste.

However, the food is pretty amazing. A poutine with real cheese curds is hard to find and this one was delicious. The chicken was a hit with us both and Erin declared the burger one of the best she's ever had.

Will we be back? Absolutely, but we'll be a bit more careful with how much we order.

🌟 Flying Tiger Treasure Days 🌟 Grab a bargain at 🌟 Flying Tiger Treasure Days 🌟

Grab a bargain at @flyingtiger with all items being a maximum of £5!

We loved a look around one of the shops in Norwich today, and came out with a few bits! Erin got a couple of cool pens and a cool pencil, while I got us a table top air hockey game to play at home.

Offer runs online and in store 22-28th January.
Erin's had a birthday party most years, and we've Erin's had a birthday party most years, and we've never been to the same place twice. This year she wanted somewhere most of her friends had never been to, so we chose @spymissions in @castlequarter_.

We booked for 12 people so the cost was around £14pp and we also added spy themed party bags for £3 each.

As we arrived, Erin's table was set up and ready and we were given a form to take food orders (included in the price). Think your average beige options such as pizza, sausages or chicken nuggets and chips.

Erin's party host took all of the children through to the mission, where honestly I'm not entirely sure what happens. Erin tells me there was a bomb, lasers and a cool slide!

Food is served after the mission, which takes around 1 hour. Sadly, the food is what let the party down. While it was served quickly, it wasn't good quality. A couple of children didn't really want to watch and even the grown ups didn't want to pick and the extra meals we had (because people didn't turn up).

I had messages from a few parents saying how much the kids enjoyed the party though, and Erin said she had the best time. It's just a shame the food isn't better.

Have you had snow where you are? Here in Norfolk Have you had snow where you are?

Here in Norfolk we've had quite a lot and me and Erin couldn't wait to go out and play in it as soon as it had settled.

We've only been able to make snowmen a handful of times but this year's was by far the best. Unfortunately, Bob (Erin named him) fell over as soon as we walked away.

It was fun to walk around the park and see what other people had built, which were much better (and more solid) than Bob!
Well, the first year of a different kind of Christ Well, the first year of a different kind of Christmas and we survived! Erin spent Christmas Day with me and Boxing Day with her Dad and she seems happy enough with that.

It hasn't been without tears though, or heightened emotions, but we've got through it.

I still struggle with my child free time, but made the most of it today with yule log for breakfast and binge watching Stranger Things.
AD | Where do you go when you dont want to cook ov AD | Where do you go when you dont want to cook over Christmas? @cosmonorwich takes away the stress of cooking or deciding what to eat.

As a world buffet, there's so much to choose from. A curry is my new go-to first plate, while Erin heads straight for the teppanyaki station.

For kids who like what they like, there's classics like pasta, chips and chicken nuggets, so you know they'll have a full plate.

Festive additions include pigs in blankets, a great roast and even mince pies!

What would you choose first?

Did you know you can visit Norwich Castle for free Did you know you can visit Norwich Castle for free if you receive Universal Credit?

Booking is so easy! All you have to do is book tickets online, choosing the right option, and show your Universal Credit entitlement on the day.

The castle has had a huge renovation, so there's so much to see and do. We loved a look around the art gallery and museum, before going to look at the newer areas.

There's loads to do for kids too, with colouring or activities dotted around in most sections. Me and Erin had a great time colouring in a soldier!

If we want a nice sit down meal in Norwich, Ask It If we want a nice sit down meal in Norwich, Ask Italian is always one of our go-to choices. It's always busy when we go, so it's best to book a table but you can also chance them having one free.

We visited this last weekend and had such a delicious meal before heading to @norwichtheatre to watch the panto. The great thing for us, is that it's family friendly and there's loads of choices for everyone on the menu.

Erin went for the kid's menu, with cheesy garlic bread as a starter, a chicken burger for her main (+£2 supplement) and then a chocolate brownie. This is a great choice for older kids, as the chicken burger is a great size! You can even get free peas as a side too.

Mum had fettuccine bolognese while I went for a pizza. We added garlic and cheese chips too, which are pretty amazing and you definitely won't want to share them.

Overall, Ask Italian is a great place for a family meal, and I know we'll be back again soon.
