I've been to Sheringham so many times but had some I've been to Sheringham so many times but had somehow missed visiting the @petercokeshellgallery_

Inside the gallery you'll find around 200 exhibits all made by the actor, playwright and artists, Peter Coke.

We loved strolling around, taking in the amazing creations and trying to pick out our favourites. We spent time trying to find as many different kinds of shells as we could, always finding something new and interesting to look at.

There's a small shop area if you want to buy a souvenir and you can also visit lifeboat museum  (@hru_lifeboat_sheringham_) next door for free too!

Opening times - 11am to 3pm depending on the time of year

Price - FREE but welcomes donations
A few months ago Erin started lessons with @eska_k A few months ago Erin started lessons with @eska_karate, and immediately fell in love with it. It didn't take her long to move up to red belt but she's also just done her very first competition.

Although Erin was super nervous beforehand, she took part in an individual Kata competition, placing 2nd and winning a silver medal.

The nerves soon went away and the excitement took over and now, she can't wait to do another one.
Supergirl seems to be getting some awful reviews b Supergirl seems to be getting some awful reviews but me and Erin loved it!

Millie Alcock plays Kara, a superhero who doesn't really want to be. She's troubled, rough around the edges and basically drinks her way through her problems. Erin's words... Mum, she's a mess! That's not a bad thing though because it's really important for kids to see that everyone has things they need to deal with.

This one has a bit of a Star Wars/ Guardians of the Galaxy feel to it and maybe that's why we liked it so much. We loved the soundtrack, the different kinds of people/ aliens and going on a bit of an in space adventure.

Of course, Kara's backstory is really interesting and her relationship with her dog, Krypto causes a few tense moments. Erin held my hand quite tightly at a few different bits. There's also quite a lot of swearing and violence but we don't mind that at all!

Have you seen this one yet? What did you think?
AD | Looking for a family day out this summer, pac AD | Looking for a family day out this summer, packed with things to do? @zsebanhamzoo is the place to be!

Spend the day at this amazing zoo, discovering the adorable animals that call it home. Throughout your day you can catch keeper talks, take a ride on the Safari Train, see if you can spot the sloths in the Tropical House and take a break with an ice cream or a delicious lunch.

Brand new this summer is a giant ferris wheel, where you can get incredible views of the zoo and the animals. Take a pair of binoculars and see what you can spot on the way round. Rides cost £5 each or a family ticket (4) costs £15.

Kid's tickets are only £1 if you book before 17th July, and there are even evening opening times in August!

From the first book you'll get a bit of everything including magic, adventure and a mystery. There's a bit of something for everyone really.

The newest book in the Royal Institute of Magic series, The Silver Dwarf, has just been released!

A couple of months ago I booked a really exciting A couple of months ago I booked a really exciting holiday for me and Erin... a few days in Paris and a couple of nights at @disneylandparis

It had been the goal to go back to Florida next year but then life happened and no that's no longer possible so DLP was the next best thing.

Although I was able to book and pay for the Disneyland Paris part in full, there's lots of extra bits I need to save for like the Eurostar, trains, other hotels and of course, spending money. As I'm learning to drive and saving for a car as well, I've set myself a challenge to try and pay for the majority of DLP with side hustles like Vinted and eBay.

Total saved in June:

Vinted = £35.24

eBay = £11.39

Regular savings = £35

Total = £81.63

Savings so far = £397.42 / £1510
First solo trip to a theme park with Erin... done! First solo trip to a theme park with Erin... done!

We had such a blast at @chessingtonworldofadventures for an overnight stay and really made the most of the time we had! We managed to go on near enough everything we wanted, fitting in so much:

🎢 Erin went upside down for the first time on Mandrill Mayhem
🐟 Visited the Sea Life Centre
🎢 Got wet on The Gruffalo more than once
🐶 Checked out the new Paw Patrol area (which was VERY busy)
🎢 Erin went on Croc Drop on her own... that one is not for me
🧛 Vampire was our favourite ride
🏺Got competitive on Tomb Blaster (it was closer than I would have liked)
🎢 Back to back rides on Mamba Strike
🦒 Went on the Zufari
🍕 Ate at the Pizza Pasta buffet restaurant
🌭 Had a break eating hot dogs

Chessington had such a chilled vibe so we were able to stroll around and go on what we wanted for the most part. We used the app to keep an eye on queue times, meaning we never really waited more than 40 minutes to go on anything.

Me and Erin were both really sad to leave but we had the best time.
Me and Erin love a theme park, and after visiting Me and Erin love a theme park, and after visiting Legoland a few times, it was time to find somewhere a bit bigger. I took advantage of a 2nd day free offer at @chessingtonworldofadventures and booked an overnight stay at the Safari Hotel.

Although check in is at 3pm, we were able to leave our luggage with reception at around 8:30am, ready for our early entry which started at 9am. This is such a good perk of an on-site hotel stay.

I booked an African Adventure room, which is a slightly upgraded room because it's themed. There are a few different set ups for the rooms but I chose one with a separate sleeping area for Erin, meaning we would both get a good night's sleep!

The room itself was great and really spacious, with everything we could have needed. Erin loved her bunk bed room (with her own TV) while I got to spread out in a big double bed. There's more than enough storage for clothes, somewhere to get ready and even a little table and chairs. One of the best things though? A mini fridge so we could keep drinks warm during a heatwave.

Breakfast was included with the stay and I was able to book a table online beforehand. The breakfast buffet was great, with a selection of both hot and cold food. We were able to eat then join the queue for early entry at a decent time, without having to rush.

Me and Erin both loved our stay at this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat.
AD | Need somewhere to eat where there's something AD | Need somewhere to eat where there's something for the whole family? @cosmonorwich is always at the top of our list.

Here you can get everything from pizza to a curry to sushi and so much in-between. Even though we've been visiting for years, we always find something new to try or something we haven't noticed before.

Obviously we have to save space for a plate of little cakes and a trip to the chocolate fountain.

Biggest question? What would your first plate be?
Going back to my book blogger days, I loved an aut Going back to my book blogger days, I loved an author event and I couldn't wait to take Erin to her first.

As soon as I saw an event for Cressida Cowell at the @assembly_house with @norwichstones, I bought tickets immediately.

The talk lasted about an hour, where we got to hear about Cressida's childhood, how she created stories and little snippets about her books.

Erin came out of the event so inspired and she couldn't wait to get something written herself.

I bought Erin a few new books to get signed, which now have pride of place on her bookcase.
We've been going to @havenofficial for about 8 yea We've been going to @havenofficial for about 8 years now, so there's a lot of the activities that Erin has done before.

On our most recent visit to Wild Duck, we gave shooting a go. I'd already done this before but now that Erin's 10, she was able to join in.

The guns are quite heavy, and it's a fair bit of work being able to load them and get them ready. Erin struggled a little bit with this but I was on hand to help her out when she needed it.

While this wasn't Erin's favourite activity at Haven, I was so proud of her for trying and really giving it her all.
