Today marks the start of our Christmas Gift Guides this year and today we’re showing off some fabulous gift ideas for men. I have included items that my husband would personally like but I hope you will find some inspiration for the men in your lives.
Technology and gadgets
John cycles to and from work a lot and it’s 10 miles each way so having a good pair of earphones is a must have. If you have someone to buy for this year who is really active then the Brainwavz S0 Earphones could be a great gift. The sound quality is fantastic, giving a crisp and clear sound with great volume levels if you like your music loud. The set comes with tips of varying size and shape, a carry bag and also a shirt clip so you don’t up with with wire everywhere!
When we first got out video baby monitor, John was pretty amazed but he was sad he couldn’t see what was going on while he was at work. The Ezviz Mini O Indoor CCTV Camera is a cost effective way of seeing what’s going on at home even when you’re not there. It connects to your wireless network and can be accessed at any time using the Ezviz app. This is great if you have pets and what to see what they’re doing throughout the day, want to see what your child is doing while you’re at work or just want to make sure your home is safe while you’re not there.
Is someone in your family, or a friend, car mad? Road safety is so important and the Nextbase 112 Dash Cam would make a fantastic gift for any driver that you’re buying a present for this year. A dash cam can act as an independent witness if you’re involved in an accident and a huge 41 insurance companies in the UK will accept video footage as evidence.
On the run up to Christmas, Nextbase are offering a huge 25% off all dash cams so it’s a great time to buy one at a better price!
The temperature is dropping quickly now and it only seems to get worse after Christmas and the New Year. I personally love to be as warm as possible when going outside in winter and BUFF have some fantastic options for hats this year. The BUFF Edsel Black Hat is a classic as it would suit most men and the colour really goes with anything.
I always think it’s nice to either have a smart looking purse or wallet and it’s really no different for men. A Zippo Leather Wallet is smart, stylish and has space for 13 cards. It also comes in a gift box so ready to give as a gift as soon as it arrives!
I don’t think John’s Christmas presents would be complete without getting some new socks. I don’t know what it is about socks but it’s one of those presents that just has to be included. Socks don’t have to be boring though and something like this Ted Baker 3 pack is a little bit of luxury instead of something that could otherwise be a boring gift.
Dobell is one of John’s favourite online shops for a nice shirt and he loves to get one for birthdays and Christmas now. This year we’re loving the Dobell Blue 100% Cotton Large Check Shirt as it works for both office wear and smart/ casual during the day. Dobell’s shirts are great quality and don’t break the bank either!
Sticking with the clothing theme, John also likes a really comfortable t-shirt that he can wear for nearly anything. A long sleeve rugby shirt from Crew Clothing would be a great choice for day to day wear and family days out. It comes in various colours so there’s surely something to suit most men.
Do you have to get a gift this year for someone who loves to travel or goes away quite a lot? The men-ü travel kit comes with Daily Refresh Shampoo, Citrus & Mint Shower Gel, Shave Crème buddy tube, Healthy Facial Wash buddy tube, Matt ‘Skin Refresh’ Gel buddy tube and it comes in a travel to keep everything together!
A fairly new brand to the UK coming from Australia is Black Leopard. Products available are facial scrubs, hair styling creams and moisturisers and can be found on Amazon and the Black Leopard website. Why not create your own style bundle and buy a couple of products to go together.
Something that most men will have in the bathroom is a razor. If they are anything like my husband, they will end up forgetting about replacement blades at some point and not having one available when they want to shave. The Bic Shave Club takes away this hassle though as you can have new blades delivered right to your door either every month, or every other month and you can cancel whenever you like too. This would make a good gift for someone forgetful who could also be a bit tricky to buy for.
Anyone else know a massive Game of Thrones fan? Carlton Books have some absolutely amazing products on offer this year and you could have a Game of Thrones themed mask to build and then mount on your wall. I think me and John would fight over who would get The House Stark Direwolf or The House Targaryen Dragon. If the man you’re buying for isn’t into either of these then there is also a White Walker or The House Lannister Lion to buy as well!
I always think it’s nice to get smaller, fun gifts for Christmas. Box of Favours comes in a beautiful gift box and include 15 different favour cards. 10 of these cards have set favours and 5 are blank so that you can design your own. I think John would definitely like more cards that would mean me making him cups of tea or even more hugs! This is such a cute idea and something a bit different to give this year.
Does your other half or family member work in an office? John does and I know he has pictures of Erin as his desktop picture but would much rather be at home with us during the day. A Vistaprint desk calendar would make a really thoughtful gift as you can personalise each month with a photo of your choice.
If you’re looking for something completely different this year then why not think about a gift basket for men. You can find more like this at The Manly Man Company where they have lots of different options.
I hope this gift guide has given you a bit of inspiration this year! Does anything here catch your eye?
