Mother’s Day isn’t far away now but there’s still plenty of time to gather some ideas and get those gifts ordered! Hopefully, this guide full of affordable gifts to suit everyone will give you some inspiration.
Flowers and plants are always a lovely gift to give for Mother’s Day but it would be a real shame if those flowers didn’t last very long or wilted quickly! Elho have a lovely range of planters with the Brussels Orchid Duo and the Brussels Bowl being perfect for orchids or flowering plants! These planters come in a range of lovely colours so there’s something to suit everyone’s taste!
Who doesn’t love new jewellery? I tend to wear a couple of pieces such as my wedding/ engagement rings and a necklace with Erin’s fingerprint on and this has been it for the past couple of years. When I came across Jewellerybox.co.uk I was instantly drawn to a couple of pieces from the Infinity range. I think this particular symbol is perfect for Mother’s Day and there are loads of different pieces to choose from. I personally love the sterling silver adjustable infinity midi ring (£9.65) and the sterling silver pearl rolo chain infinity bracelet (£28). The prices are really reasonable and won’t break the bank!
If there is a tea drinker in the family then the Sakura Pattern Tea Box Trio (£27.50) from Sous Chef is a lovely gift. Each box is wrapped in hand dyed Japanese paper and will help to keep loose leaf tea fresher for longer. They’re pretty gorgeous too!
To go along with that nice cup of tea, why not treat your Mum to some gorgeous cups and ice cream bowls from Simply Ice Cream. Don’t just stop there though, make sure you pair the gift with some of Simply Ice Cream’s delicious flavours such as Sublime Strawberry or Heavenly Honeycomb! You never know, your Mum might even share some with you.
I don’t think we have enough pictures around the house so this Multi Photo Frame from Red Candy would be a perfect gift and it only costs £14. This photo frame can either be wall mounted or used on a desk or shelf as it has a stand as well!
We love anything owl related or woodland themed in this house and Red Candy have a fantastic range of cushions. The Creature Comforts Observant Owl Cushion costs £25 and can be paired with other cushion in the same range. I already have my eye on the stag, squirrel and fox cushions to match!
I personally love having a notebook in my bag no matter where I am going or what I am doing. It’s always nice to have lovely stationery instead of a tatty notepad and the Parisian Chic Journal is gorgeous! Packed in a lovely box and costing £20, this would be a real treat this Mother’s Day!
I think perfume is always a good choice as a gift for Mother’s Day and there is so many to choose from. This year I’m trying to find gifts that are affordable for everyone and Joan Collins Timeless Beauty I am Woman Eau De Parfum (£15 for 12ml & £50 for 50ml) is exactly that. Although a more expensive version is available, this lovely bottle costs only £15 and smells really lovely!
Hempz Beauty have such a wonderful range of body and skin care products and we’ve tried some great ones in the past. This Exotic Green Tea and Asian Pear Exfoliating Herbal Cleansing Mud and Body Mask (£16.99) is wonderful when you want to relax in a nice hot bath and have a bit of a pamper. It really makes your skin and smell gorgeous after using it as well!
I love a really nice soak in the bath and sometimes, after a full day of running around and playing with Erin I ache! Nelsons Arnicare Arnica Bath and Massage Balm can help to relieve tension and to help you to relax and unwind… something I definitely need to do more. Putting some of this in the bath after a long day feels great and it also smells amazing with the addition of evening primrose, sweet almond oil, lavender and grapefruit.
I first discovered The Poppy Shop just before Christmas and it’s not somewhere I would have ever thought of for gifts before. However, there is so much choice and something for everyone and by purchasing from here, you’re helping to supposed the Royal British Legion. I’m loving the Orla Kiely Classic Poppy Juco Bag (£9.99) as a Mother’s Day gift. My mum loves these kinds of bags and the design is really bright and fun.
I hope this post has given you some inspiration for Mother’s Day this year! I’d love it if you let me know your favourite in the comments!
A beautiful selection of gifts xXx
