AD | Now that we're well into November, the weathe AD | Now that we're well into November, the weather is slowly getting worse and worse.

@sealifeyarmouth is the perfect place for a day out with the kids, if you want to escape the rain.

You can book a timeslot online, but once you're there and get a stamp on your hand you can come and go as you please.

Inside there is so much to see, whether you want to spend time seeing how many different kinds kf fish there are, finding out what creature the ranger has out, or walking through the tunnel!

I always love seeing the leaf cutter ants while the penguins are a firm favourite with Erin.

Don't miss a trip to the gift shop at the end, or maybe grab some lunch in the cafe.

AD | We love @gypbeach at any time of the year but AD | We love @gypbeach at any time of the year but here's why October half term is my favourite...

🎢 Minimum queues - it's rare to queue for long for any ride apart from the big rollercoaster.

😎 October half term is such a chilled vibe.

🎥 There are things to do inside - the 4D cinema is a great place to warm up or hide from the rain

🪙 We always make time to play the arcades at this time of year

🍩 Warm up with some hot, sugary doughnuts

🎃 There are a few Halloween themed areas (safely away from Fairground Frights)

🎟 If you have an unlimited wristband, you're going to be able to get on loads of rides even with shorter opening hours

AD | Want to go for a meal where kids eat free all AD | Want to go for a meal where kids eat free all day, every day? @tgifridaysnorwich should be at the top of your list.

The staff at TGI Friday's Norwich are so friendly, and we felt so welcome from the minute we walked through the doors. Pair this with colouring, balloon animals and popcorn at the table and you know you're in for a great visit.

The children's menu here is fantastic, and there's loads to choose from. Whether it's a burger and fries, chicken tenders, a hot dog or a quesadilla, there's bound to be something to please everyone. You also get 2 sides, which is perfect for when you can't choose.

Did I mention that kids eat free all day, every day?!

When it comes to the adult's menu, I had a hard time choosing, because there are so many great dishes. You could go for a classic like ribs or a burger or something like blackened salmon or even a steak. The portions are great too, so you definitely won't be leaving hungry.

If you do have space, I can highly recommend the Chocolate Fudge Fixation for dessert. Mum particularly loved the S'Mores Sundae though, if you're more of an ice cream fan.

Finish off your visit to TGI Fridays in Norwich at the photo booth, creating something special with your family.

AD | @monsterclubshow is back for October half ter AD | @monsterclubshow is back for October half term and in a brand new venue for 2025. Get ready to party at @assembly_house with Joe, Pip and all of the amazing singers and performers.

This 90 minute family friendly show is perfect for Halloween, with a real mix of spooky songs, tricks and hilarious comedy sections.

We spent the show either singing along, laughing or being wowed! There's really something for everyone here, and you can see how much thought and hard work goes into the show.

Every year @monsterclubshow brings something new to the stage, keeping it fresh and modern. This year there are some firm favourites that are super popular right now. See if you can guess from the reel!

Shows are all week long until Halloween but be quick, there aren't many tickets left.

AD | When a favourite comes out with a new menu, o AD | When a favourite comes out with a new menu, of course we have to go and see what the new additions are like.

There's a handful of new menu items this time, in different sections such as a new burger, new loaded fries, a gravy, a new side and a new dessert and shake. These new dishes fit in so well with an already great menu.

What we tried from the new additions:
Cookie dough shake
Cluck'd gravy
Nashville loaded fries (these are huge!)
Mac and cheese slabs (I could have eaten loads of these)
Cookie dough dessert (Erin's new favourite)

As well as the new menu items, there is so much to choose from here. Known for it's grilled chicken, which comes in multiple flavours, you can also expect other great dishes like wraps, burgers and of course, chicken tenders. There are plenty of great sides to choose from, so you can mix and match to get the perfect meal for you.

What else we had:
Hash brown bites
Buttermilk chicken burger
Skin on fries
1/2 herby garlic chicken
Cheesecake
Chocolate brownie

@cluckduk has been a firm favourite since our first visit, and we've been back a few times since. If you're a family who likes chicken dishes then this is the place for you. The new items on the menu and are fantastic, meaning @cluckduk has even more to offer!

The weather might not be great this week but we al The weather might not be great this week but we always love feeding the ducks in Wroxham.

Just near the bridge you'll find an adorable trailer where you can buy duck food, as well as pick up feathers and rubber ducks!

We always need to be sure to take bird food and duck food, as Erin seems to prefer the pigeons... and they seem to love her.

AD | When one wants curry and the other wants pizz AD | When one wants curry and the other wants pizza and chips, where do you go for a family meal in half term? @cosmonorwich is the perfect place!

With a phenomenal world buffet on offer, there's a little something for everyone here. Me and Erin love trying something different each time we go, although we also have our favorites that we keep going back for.

What we love about Cosmo is that you can have a little bit of lots of different things, from Indian food, to Chinese food, to delicious teppanyaki. If you have fussy eaters, this is a great way to encourage them to try new foods in a way that's not overwhelming.

Let's not forget the desserts either. Take your pick from small plates of cake, make a skewer on the chocolate fountain or grab a strawberry ice cream (my favourite).

Keep an eye out this weekend for a giveaway, where you can win 4 meals at @Cosmonorwich

🌟 Hamilton UK Tour 2025 🌟 AD | Maybe the m 🌟 Hamilton UK Tour 2025 🌟

AD | Maybe the most anticipated show has finally come to @norwichtheatre, for an amazing 6 week run.

I admit, I was a little worried, being such a fan of the original cast. Can anyone else live up to a performance by names that big?

Actually, yes I think they can. The minute that music starts, the cast command the stage and I was mesmerised. Aaron Burr (Billy Nevers) blew me away, and was by far the stand out performance of the night for me.

Taking on the role of King George III (my favourite) is Louis Maskell. Is he as good as Jonathan Groff? No, but his performance is different and he definitely puts his own stamp on such an iconic role.

Although the show is 2 hours 45 minutes long, it never feels that way. I could have easily sat through it again.

Counting down until I get to see this again in just a couple of weeks. Tickets are limited but there is still some availability.

🎨 Art & history at the Holburne Museum 🖼️

AD | One of the most surprising places we visited while in Bath was the @holburnemuseumbath. As you might know, I’m a big Bridgerton fan and the building is used as the exterior of Lady Danbury’s house, so of course I wanted to visit. What I wasn’t expecting though, was just how much we would all love what was on the inside.

While there is no children’s trail as such, Erin was given a small clipboard and some paper, so she could draw as she went around. There are rooms with various interactive elements too, such as drawers that pull out with activities inside.

Some of the exhibitions are permanent, while some are only temporary and will change depending on when you visit. Sir William Holburne (1793-1874) is at the heart of the collection though, with his interest in collecting stemming from his grand tour around Italy, the Alps and the Netherlands.

You’ll find all kinds of art here, from miniature portraits, hanging vases, beautiful paintings and there’s even what was once a ballroom!

Erin particularly liked the creative station on the ground floor, where she could draw and make in the style of some of the art on show at the time.

The museum is fully accessible, has toilets, a cafe and small lockers if you don’t want to carry bags around with you.

⛪ Spotting the secrets of Bath Abbey 🕵️ ⛪ Spotting the secrets of Bath Abbey 🕵️

AD | When it comes to sightseeing, going inside a church or cathedral with kids doesn’t usually come at the top of my list. However, @bathabbey should definitely be on your must visit list next time you’re in Bath.

Erin was able to pick up a ‘Alex’s Abbey Adventure’ trail sheet and pencil at the welcome desk when we got our tickets, but there’s also a Little Explorer backpack for children 5 and under!

A little book filled with activities is such a great way to keep children busy. The trail is designed to help younger visitors really look closely at their surroundings and the trail turns the Abbey into a treasure hunt full of discoveries.

Erin really loved following the trail, and spotting details she (and us) might not have otherwise. Children will pay special attention to the stained glass windows and try to design one themselves, look for the animals carved into the woodwork and learn a bit about the history of Bath Abbey as they go.

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed doing the trail with Erin. I definitely learned more than I might have otherwise, and it was a fun way to look at such a beautiful building in Bath.

📚 Getting to know Jane Austen 👒 AD | It w 📚 Getting to know Jane Austen 👒

AD | It would have been a disgrace had we visited Bath and not learned anything about the wonderful Jane Austen! Luckily, @thejaneaustencentre is the perfect place to do that!

This is a bit of a museum with a difference, as your visit (which you need a booked time for) starts with a 20 minute talk all about Jane and her life in Bath. The twist? It’s done by actors playing characters from Austen’s books! We had Isabella Thorpe from Northanger Abbey and she was hilarious. It’s a fun and interesting way to learn more about someone.

Afterwards, you’re free to explore the museum downstairs at your leisure. There’s plenty to learn about Jane and her time in Bath, as well as there being things from some of the films. You might like to try your hand at some Regency style games, attempt to write with a quill and ink or even dress up.

Be sure to pick up a children’s trail from the shop at the start. There are some adorable mice hiding around the museum and if you can unscramble the word at the end, you get a prize (sadly, none for the adults!)

This was such a fun and interesting introduction to Jane Austen for Erin, and she’s come away asking when she can read a book and which one should she start with!

📍 40 Gay Street, Bath BA1 2NT

💷 Adults £17 | Children £9.50 | Under 6s free

🕒 Opening times vary depending on time of year. Generally opens between 9:45 and 10am, closing between 4:30pm and 6pm
