Try to choose something that will complement your furnishings and accessories. Alternatively, if you have a statement wall already, this is an easy change to make if it’s painted and not wallpapered.
Bring nature into the room
Rooms are easily transformed with the addition of some house plants. We all tend to have some surface space free, whether that be on a dressing table, bedside table or a shelf and what better way to fill that than with a plant? The great thing about plants is they come in all shapes and sizes. You might only have a small space and that’s fine, a succulent will easily fit! If you have lots of space why not consider something a bit bigger and more extravagant?
Add soft rugs
When the weather changes and the temperature drops, I find myself wanting different things from my bedroom. One of the things I dislike the most is having cold feet. If you have wooden or laminate flooring, your feet can get cold the minute you get out of bed. Adding soft rugs around the room will definitely help this, and give the room a cosier feel.
