Mother’s Day gift ideas from Cotton Traders

With Mother’s Day just around the corner you might still be thinking about present possibilities. I’ll be completely honest, I always struggle with what to get my Mum because she never says she wants anything. If you’re in the same position then take a look at some of the great pieces I picked up recently from Cotton Traders.

Although the weather might not have got the memo, spring is on the way and we’ll soon be ditching the jumpers and boots and swapping them for lighter options. I’m looking forward to putting on a pair of sandals and heading out without a huge coat every day. Wrinkle free collection

I was really curious about Cotton Trader’s ‘wrinkle free’ collection. Being busy, I don’t want to have to think about the state of my clothes after wearing them all day or what they’re going to be like coming out of the washing machine. The wrinkle free pull on crop trousers come in a range of great colours and they are super comfortable.

For me, at 5ft 5” wrinkle free pull on crop trousers are the perfect length for me, sitting just above my ankles. The back of the waistband is elasticated, giving a good level of comfort which is great if you’re going to be out all day. I really love the navy colour because they are so versatile, being able to match with so many other things.

Tops ideal for spring

In spring I tend to want to wear looser clothes but also with the need of not being quite ready for my summer clothes. The Daydream Embroidered Blouse comes in 3 different colours and sizes range from 10-26.

Made from light and airy woven cotton this top can either be worn as it is, or with a vest top underneath if you want to layer it up a bit. The sleeves are 3/4 length but can also be buttoned right back to make them 1/2 length so you can change your look as you want. I love that the option is there and it means the top will appeal to more people.

Accessories

Cotton Traders also offer a lovely range of accessories, including this quilted cross body bag. With an adjustable strap, you can alter the bag to suit you. I made the strap as long as possible and it was the perfect length for me. The bag has 5 different compartments so there’s loads of space to store your things, with safety features such as zips.

You can’t go wrong with pyjamas

When it comes to Mother’s Day I always say that you can’t go wrong with pyjamas. I say this for me and my own Mum. Now that we’re looking forwards towards warmer weather a short sleeved option like this navy jersey pyjama set would be a great option.
