Sometimes it feels like I am forever walking around and cleaning up crumbs as Erin drops them. Some days it’s a bit of a pain getting the big vacuum cleaner out just to clean up a couple of crisp crumbs or a tiny mess in the middle of the rug. We were recently sent the Hoover Clik SC96DWR4 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner to help us out and here’s how we’ve been getting on with it.
The Hoover Clik Handheld Vacuum Cleaner needs charging before you can use it but this is generally the case with any kind of cordless product. However, this one needs to be charged for a full 24 hours before you should lose it which is a lot longer than I expected. The charger comes in the form of a wall mountable base but you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. We have ours sitting on a shelf instead as we didn’t want to drill into a wall. However, using the wall mountable base will keep it neat, tidy and out of the way.
When fully charged this Hoover will last up to 14 minutes. I know that may not sound like a long time but it’s plenty for those little jobs around the house. This is the perfect length of time for me to have a quick hoover of the stairs, which seem to get dusty really easily or even just to clean up the floor after Erin has gone to bed.
With the auto clean function, and the easy release lever for the dust compartment make this a dream to use. You can empty the dust quickly and make sure the filter is cleaned ready for the next use. I’m all for products that make life easier and this is definitely one of them.
The Hoover Clik Handheld Vacuum Cleaner comes with a crevice tool and a dusting tool and I love that it has these extras. Both tools are integrated to the vacuum cleaner so they are easy to attach as soon as you need them. I tend to lose things like this so having them built in is a great idea. I hate dusting as I usually feel that the dust just ends up being moved around or stuck in a feather duster but with this, I am able to use it around the house to actually pick up the dust and dispose of it in the bin afterwards!
The Hoover Clik Handheld Vacuum Cleaner isn’t the most powerful of handheld vacuum cleaners but it does what we need it to do. With something this small you can’t expect the same amount of power as a full sized vacuum but it means we can now clean up small messes in a matter of seconds instead of getting the big vacuum cleaner out.
