Announcing INTERLUDE in the CLOSE

Last year we got to experience a different kind of theatre when Interlude was in Chapelfield Gardens in a big top tent. This year, Interlude in the Close has a new home, in the Norwich Cathedral Close and will take place from 14 July to 30 August 2021, in partnership with Lost in Translation Circus, Norwich Cathedral and Norwich School.

We’ll be going to see a couple of shows over the summer, Sarah and Duck’s Big Top Birthday and StrongWomen Science but you can find details of other shows below.

The Wind in the Willows

Wed 14 July, 7pm 

Officially opening INTERLUDE in the CLOSE, The Wind in the Willows is a beautiful and enchanting musical production written by Academy Award winner Julian Fellowes with music by the award-winning Stiles & Drewe, presented by the Turbine Theatre, London. Last seen at the London Palladium in 2018, The Wind in the Willows has been specially adapted for a more intimate outdoor performance and for families and people of all ages.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

StrongWomen Science

StrongWomen Aoife and Maria reveal the scientific secrets behind their astounding tricks. In a fun, lively and fast-paced family circus performance, find out how jugglers, acrobats and hula hoop artists use science to create their amazing acts.

Circus Lates

Back for INTERLUDE 2021, Lost in Translation’s Circus Lates is a unique night of live entertainment that will take you through a journey of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety. This is a show you DON’T want to miss! Ages 16+
