When it comes to playing, we do a lot of role play. Erin loves to pretend and she could spend hours playing this way and with it now being the summer holidays, we will be outside a lot. We look for toys that are going to last through a lot of play, being thrown around and also, that won’t break or fade quickly.
We were recently sent the Dantoy Bio-Toy Pretend Play Dinner Set*, which comes from a new brand to us.

We headed outside to have a bit of a mix of a picnic and a barbecue with some of the other play pieces we have. The Dantoy Bio-Toy Pretend Play Dinner Set comes with plates, cutlery and cups for 4 people as well as a cooking pot. Erin very quickly put the pot onto her barbecue and set about to make a delicious meal for us all.
As play dinner sets go, this one was a big hit with Erin. Of course, the standard plates and cutlery, along with the cups, meant that Erin could set food out for everyone but it was the cooking pot that was the clear winner. Erin was really able to expand on how she would normally play with these kinds of toys.
This set has already been played with a lot and it’s great that we can use it both indoors and outside.

These look fabulous. I had no idea that toys could be made out of sugarcane. What a wonderful way to reduce plastic!
I always loved playing tea parties as a child but it’s something my step daughters haven’t really got in to.
I think I might have to buy these in the hope that they might start, I could definitely do fake afternoon tea!

I love sustainable toys and it’s fantastic it can all be recycled. They look lovely as well as durable.
