Imaginative Play With JoJo Maman Bebe

Earlier this week I wrote a post about keeping toddlers busy on a rainy day and I mentioned some fabulous wooden toys from JoJo Maman Bebe. Today, I want to tell you a little bit more about them.

First up we have the picnic basket set. What I love the most about this set is the attention to detail and the little things that make it so special. The set comes in an actual picnic basket which I think is really lovely. The basked it lined with gingham material and you also get a picnic blanket included.

Inside the picnic basket is a wonderful range of food items and tableware. There is enough to have a lovely picnic for two people! Each piece is painted in lovely, bright colours and there is a great range to play with.

What I especially love about this picnic set is the attention to detail with the food items. Each piece can be pulled apart and put back together using velcro. I think this is really clever because not only does it mean children can discover food without getting messy and they can also share it out with the others having the picnic!

The picnic blanket and basket mean that this toy can be packed up really quickly and all kept together without pieces going missing. The blanket can be used to wrap everything up which is a great idea!

We were also lucky enough to get a Grill & Serve Barbecue to play with! Summer is obviously the perfect time for a BBQ but they’re not really that safe for children to be around. Toddlers are inquisitive little things so instead of having them wanting to play with the big BBQ, what better way to teach them than with a gorgeous wooden play set.

Just like the picnic basket, this set is full of great items! What I love about this set is that there are so many ways for children to play with it. The BBQ comes with a burger that can be pulled apart, sausages and chicken as well as individual items needed to make kebabs!. There is also the condiments and cooking tools along with plates and cutlery. JoJo Maman Bebe have really thought of everything.

A lot of thought has been put into this BBQ set. In order to keep all of the pieces together, they fit inside the actual BBQ and the silver grill acts as a lid to keep them inside.

Both play sets encourage children to use their imaginations and they’re so much fun to play with at the same time. Not only are they fun and bright but they are also made really well. These are going to last Erin a very long time and she’s going to have so much fun with them!
