Organic Shop Hair Care Review

My hair is quite thin and it always has been and getting older isn’t going to help that! Certain hair care products really don’t agree with my hair and I find that some can either make it quite greasy looking or dull and heavy. I have a hard enough time with my hair without having to battle with different shampoos and conditioners too. Ideally, I would love to use a chemical free shampoo where possible but we have to buy what’s on offer or available sometimes. I was sent a range of hair care from Organic Shop that is now available in selected Tesco stores and online!

Organic Shop Hair Care Review

The new range of hair care comes from Organic Shop, who use natural and organic ingredients and are 100% cruelty free! There are no parabens or silicones in their products and they also contain at least 98% naturally sourced ingredients with at least the lead active ingredients always being Organic. Some hair care products can have so many chemicals in them and ingredients you don’t understand so these sounded great!

As I have quite flat, fine hair I was sent a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask from the Raspberry & Acai range, which is supposed to help naturally volumise the hair. Both the shampoo and conditioner come in a tall bottle with a push down dispenser at the top. I find these so much easier than regular flip top bottles as it means there is no messing about when all you want to do is wash your hair! The only downside though is that my toddler is starting to figure these out so they have to stay out of reach.

The shampoo and conditioner really smells lovely and the raspberry is really very clear. I don’t actually know what açai smells like so not sure if it you can smell it or not. When using the shampoo and conditioner I only needed to use a small amount of each. With some cheap products I tend to have to use a lot of conditioners but luckily, that wasn’t the case here. Each of these products cost £2.50.

I love that there are hair masks to match the shampoos and conditioners and that they also cost £2.50. My hair is never in the best of conditions but using this hair mask has made it feel so soft and manageable again. These might not be the most ideal products though if you like to consider eco friendly products, so you might look for a zero waste shampoo instead.

Would this be something you’d try if you came across it on the shelves in Tesco?
