I can’t quite believe the summer holidays are only about 4 weeks away. The last half termSummer Holiday Bucket List 2019 only seemed like yesterday and I thought I would have plenty of time to get planning some activities for the summer holidays. That time seems to be running out really fast though and I’ve hardly planned anything. 6 weeks is a lot of time to fill and I’m so used to Erin being at nursery for 4 days a week now that I’m not quite sure how to make it fun all the time for her.
So, what I thought I’d do seeing as I don’t have any concrete plans yet is to come up with a summer holiday bucket list and revisit it in September to see how we did.
I thought I’d only add 20 things to this year’s bucket list, as it’s the first time doing one and I didn’t want to make it so we couldn’t achieve most things. Is there anything you’d add to the list?
How are the holidays only four weeks away?? This year is flying by so fast! You’ve got some great ideas here, it’s inspired me to do my own list this year! Thank you!
We love to make potions too! So excited for the summer and all the freedom it brings with it.
What a lovely list of activities, I’m looking forward to reading about your adventures.
I’m working on mine at the mo but we all keep adding more ideas, 20 seems much more manageable than the 3million we’ve come up with as a family!
Love this idea! I have been compiling a list of things too. Might steal some of these though!
Oh this is such a good idea, you have kinda inspired me to make one with my daughter for our summer adventure. Ooooh we may go to Amazonia soon.
So many great things to do this summer. I love them all and would love to do together with my kids.
I can’t wait until the summer hols. I love that you have made a list, I have made a little list of my own and I am hoping to start ticking some off.
Only one week until summer holidays start in Edinburgh! Unfortunately I can’t take much time off over the summer as I work for one of the Edinburgh summer festivals, so we are going away for just one week and the rest of the summer my eldest has to go to summer camp and my youngest will be going to nursery as normal. Thankfully they do lots of fun trips in summer camp so he loves going.
Oh no one of the most hectic days are coming but yes if we plan like this, it is definitely going to be easy. Thanks for the idea.
I can’t believe the Summer holidays are that close. It’s great to start planning beforehand as it can be a long six weeks.
