With this summer being my first real summer holidays with Erin I wanted to try to make the most of it. Sometimes, unless you have some kind of plan in place I think you can find yourself doing the same old thing a lot or staying at home when you could be out doing something fun and exciting. I can’t quite believe the summer holidays are only about 4 weeks away. The last half termSummer Holiday Bucket List 2019 only seemed like yesterday and I thought I would have plenty of time to get planning some activities for the summer holidays. That time seems to be running out really fast though and I’ve hardly planned anything. 6 weeks is a lot of time to fill and I’m so used to Erin being at nursery for 4 days a week now that I’m not quite sure how to make it fun all the time
Last year I feel like we went away an awful lot, probably too much. Due to Erin’s traumatic birth we really didn’t do anything much at all in 2016 and I really wanted to make up for that last year. While going away is lovely and I do love going, I would also really like to do some more things a bit closer to home. We live in beautiful Norfolk and there is so much to do here. There will still be a few holidays thrown in to the mix as well… for good measure
Having just got back from a wonderful holiday at Center Parcs, I am in massive holiday mood. I am already itching to book another and I was pretty much as soon as I stepped through the door. I want Erin to experience as much as the world as possible, and visit new places as much as we can afford to! I am always looking for inspiration for our next family adventure and Destination2 is a fantastic place to start.
