Towards the end of the summer holidays Erin and I joined Sarah from Boo, Roo and Tigger Too and her daughter for a fun day out at Pettitts Animal Adventure Park in Reedham, Norfolk.

I’ve wanted to get a photo like this with Erin for quite some time so on a recent trip to London it was the perfect time to spend the day at the zoo.
AD | Press tickets On a day out a couple of weeks ago we started with a trip to Sea Life Great Yarmouth. Although we had been before a few times it had been quite some time especially with Covid meaning it had been closed for a while. This year at school Erin had been learning about sharks so she couldn’t wait to go back so she could see them again.
Last year, when lockdown was lifted, one of our first days out was to Wroxham Barns and we all had an absolute blast. It was one of the places that Erin was the most looking forward to going again so as soon as they released their tickets for the lambing weekends I decided to plan a day out. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, you do have to book and pay for a ticket online and choose a time slot for your arrival. You cannot just turn up on the day and most of the days
Being a non-driving family has meant that there are places in Norfolk that we love to go for days out but usually can’t go because of transport issues. Wroxham Barns is one of those places. I always thought we couldn’t go because we don’t drive but recently I figured out that with the help of a train and then a taxi, it would be possible. One of my absolute favourite places to visit is the zoo and luckily, John and Erin love them just as much as I do. Just over a week ago it was John’s birthday and we went away to London for the night using a Buy A Gift Voucher for a hotel stay.
