BRIO Wooden Doll Pram Review

Erin is now getting to an age where she has completely changed how she likes to play and the toys she likes to play with. While she still seems to like blocks and some more complicated shape sorters, she needs something that requires her to think a bit more and to use a bit more imagination. We were recently introduced to the BRIO Wooden Doll Pram and I know immediately that this was a toy for Erin.

The Wooden Doll Pram comes boxed but not completely put together. The wooden handle needs attaching with the screws provided. There are two different positions that the handle can be put in which is great because it means you can alter it depending on your child’s needs. Doing this only took a maximum of two minutes which is a good job because Erin was already getting very impatient because she wasn’t playing with it.

We have had a couple of BRIO toys in the past and I have always been impressed with their quality and the Wooden Doll Pram didn’t disappoint. The unit is sturdy and beautifully put together. Although this is probably completely lost on Erin, I certainly take note of things like this. Quality is worth paying for and BRIO toys are really good value for money.

Erin LOVED the pram from the minute she got her hands on it. The pram is a lot lighter than it looked and Erin very quickly took off running with it, empty, and fell over because it tipped up from under her. Now, this is no fault of the toy or BRIO at all. We have a wooden floor and it is much better suited to carpet or outside.

The BRIO Wooden Doll Pram is suited for children 18 months and up and I think this is about right. Erin is 21 months old and it’s great for her. While she doesn’t use it for dolls at the moment, she loves to pick up things from around the house and push them around the living room. We made a game out of what we can find and she loves it.

I can imagine the way Erin plays with the BRIO Wooden Doll Pram will change over time, which makes it such good value for money. This is the kind of toy that can last a very long time due to how it can be played with and also how well it’s made!
