I’m sure I’m not alone when I wonder how my daughter ended up having so many soft toys. One day she didn’t even like them and the next there’s barely enough room in her bed for her and her ‘friends’. Erin was recently sent two new friends with a bit of a difference… these are Eco Plushes!
Nowadays, more and more of us are trying to make more sustainable and eco choices in our every day lives. There’s no reason why this doesn’t have to extend to our children’s toys. With National Earth Day falling on Friday 22nd April this year there’s no better time to start thinking about what you can do.
This brand new range of eco plushes, features much loves characters such as Blippi and JJ from Cocomelon, as well as Barney, Teletubbies, My Little Pony and Peppa Pig. All eco plushes in the range are suitable for children aged 18m+. With children more likely to be drawn to characters they already know, the range is fantastic as there are plenty to choose from.
These eco plushes are made from 100% recycled materials starting with the packaging which is made from sustainably sourced cardboard boxes. The plushes themselves are made from recycled plastic bottles. This would make a great topic to discuss with children; talking about recycling and the different things that can be done. elp make people aware that these plushes are an eco-friendly choice, each character has a green leaf embroidered on them.
Each eco plush is 8” in size, making them great for both tiny hands and also for slightly older children. Erin, 6, loved the size of JJ especially, as it meant that she could play with him like a baby. The plushes are super softs and lovely to play with as there are no sharp or hard edges anywhere.
The new Eco Plush range is available both online and in-store from the likes of Smyths, The Entertainer, Toymaster, Very, Amazon, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda, The Range and Hamleys, just to name a few!
