When Erin started going to nursery back in January I didn’t think I would have the need for things like name tags just yet. I figured, what could Erin possibly lose at nursery when she only goes 3 days a week and barely takes anything with her. It turns out, things go missing all of the time and Erin often comes home without the jumper or t-shirt she had one when I dropped her off. Sometimes, there is a big search when I pick her up or drop her off the next day for whatever item we’re missing. My Nametags got in touch recently to see if we wanted to review their stick on name tags and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
My Nametags have different options for products depending on what you need, with the choice of sticker or iron on labels with them coming in a range of colours and designs. You can even design your own which is exactly what we did!
For £11.95 + £1.00 P&P we got 56 lovely sticker labels with our own design on them. While I was picking the design for Erin’s labels I was really surprised at just how much choice there was in terms of backgrounds and pictures. I spent ages looking through both so that I could get something I knew Erin would like.
If you’re not quite sure about what you want then there are also recommendations for designs that go nicely together or you could pick something from one of the character ranges (Mr Men and Little Miss, Battersea or Hello Kitty).
I went for a bright orange background with a flower that I thought complimented the colours nicely. I also thought that this particular design would stand out when trying to find something of Erins.
The great thing about these sticker labels is that they are so easy to apply; you literally peel them off the sheet and stick them on to whatever item you want a name label on. We have been able to stick these labels to clothes labels, bottles and even inside shoes! The labels stick really well to clothes labels and they can be washed over and over again without them fading or coming off. Erin can go through quite a lot of changes of clothes on a nursery day if she gets wet or messy so this is a really important factor for us.
Even after labelling all of Erin’s school t-shirts and jumpers, and a few other bits and pieces, we haven’t even used up a quarter of our stickers. These 56 will last us quite some time; probably until Erin needs new school clothes anyway! As a parent, it’s a relief to know you can buy something that works the way it is supposed to, lasts and looks great all at the same time.
