Preparing For Holidays With UK Swimwear

This year we have a few different trips away booked and a few of them are to places with swimming pools. We have a trip to Center Parcs next week, Haven the week after and then another Haven trip and Butlins later on in the year. When we go to these kinds of places swimming is one of Erin’s favourite activities and she tends to want to go at least once a day.

I do already have a fantastic swimsuit from UK Swimwear that I got a couple of years ago and while it’s still going strong, I needed something else. The swimsuit that I got last time is quite plain as it’s all black but it is also really flattering and comfortable. As a plus size woman I want a swimsuit that not only fits but looks really nice too.

UK Swimwear sell swimsuits from a range of brands with plenty of designs and colours available. The range isn’t quite as extensive for plus sizes however, there was still plenty of choice and I could have picked from a few different styles. In the end I chose the Gottex Mirage Square Neck Swimsuit in navy.

The Gottex Mirage Square Neck Swimsuit is available in two colours, navy and black and it has white line details over the body. Navy is my absolute favourite colour so picking between the two was really easy for me. In the past I have tended to go for something a bit plainer but this time I wanted something with a bit of a pattern; something a bit different for me. I love that the white lines are quite slimming and they distract from areas that I don’t like on my body.

I ordered this swimsuit in a size 22 as I’m currently in between a 20 and 22. The fit is quite snug but not uncomfortably so. I could have done with a little bit more room around the stomach area but once on and in the pool I don’t notice at all. This swimsuit has a square cut neck which isn’t something I’ve had before and I love the soft cups which offer support as well as being really comfortable for the bust. The straps are adjustable which is a really great feature, making it more comfortable for each individual person.

I feel so good now knowing I can go on all of our holidays this year armed with fantastic swimwear that feels amazing to wear and also looks great.
