When we first moved into our house I thought I knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted each room to be. Now, 5 years on, things have changed a lot. We now have Erin who is nearly 4, a cat and I am self-employed so one of our spare bedrooms is now an office. For ages now I have been looking for the ideal office storage for me and found exactly what I wanted on the VonHaus website.

VonHaus have quite a few great storage options but one that immediately stood out to me was the 15 drawer trolley. I chose the white version but it also comes in black. There are different styles and sizes available as well and these come in a variety of colours such as a rainbow or different shades of pink.

When I order any kind of furniture the thing that I hate the most is putting it together. I’m not great with instructions and things always seem to take longer than it should. The trolley comes in a pretty big box but all of the pieces were packaged well. The instructions are quite short but they were easy enough to follow for the most part. It took me less than 20 minutes to put the whole thing together and that was even with putting one side on the wrong way around. That was quickly and easily fixed though.

On the left hand side of the trolley are 15 smaller drawers and the right side has 5 deeper drawers. This makes the trolley really versatile and suitable for so many different things. I can see this being a great piece of storage for craft supplies, stationery or maybe even for school supplies. There are so many possibilities.

As a blogger I have quite a collection of photo props now and things I use on a regular basis. These kinds of things are usually quite hard to store and even harder to keep all together. I found that the deeper drawers were ideal for this kind of thing. I’m able to keep all of my props organised into theme or season and the drawers really make it easy to find anything that I need.

Of course, the space provided with this set was a big selling point but something else was the fact that it is on wheels. Sometimes I need to move things around my office depending on what I’m doing, or what the light is like. It’s great to have storage that I can move around to wherever I need and it also means I have anything I need within reach.

Another great aspect of the VonHaus 15 Drawer Trolley is the top, which clips on. If you are keeping the trolley in one place then this is a great way to store extra items and really spruce it up! I have my stationery storage on the top as well as notebooks that I use on a regular basis. The top of the trolley is a great way to maximise the space. However, if you’re planning on moving the trolley around then it’s a better idea to use things like small storage boxes etc. on the top.

The VonHaus 15 Drawer Trolley has made such a huge difference to my office. I am really quite surprised at just how much fits into the drawers, especially the shallower drawers. I still have a few drawers with nothing in them but I doubt it will take long for something to find it’s place there.

As I’m sure you can tell, I really love the VonHaus 15 Drawer Trolley. It’s made my work life a lot easier, and helped me to get more organised, and I now want another one for another room. Something like this would be ideal for Erin and her craft supplies so I’m going to look into getting one in the new year for her!
