Our Personalised Star Map From GreaterSkies

AD – We received this product for the purpose of this post. All opinions are our own.  This April we will have lived in our house for 5 years. I think I am getting to the point where I finally know what I want to do in certain rooms and areas. Most of that includes a lot of work though like plastering, ripping out bathrooms and kitchens and actually changing the use of some rooms. We can’t afford any of that right now but what we can do is spruce up some rooms with accessories and prints. With Valentine’s Day coming

Getting My Home Organised For The New Year

AD – We received products for the purpose of this post. All opinions are our own.  The New Year is just around the corner and while I don’t really make resolutions as such, I do like to start the year in a certain way. Just before Christmas I like to have a good clean up and clear out of things we don’t want or need. Right after Christmas I like to get really organised and put things away as soon as possible to make sure life can get back to normal quickly and without any hassle. I think starting the New

Home Office Wishlist

I love having my own little corner of the house to work in. Okay, it’s a bit bigger than a small corner as I have a huge Ikea Alex/ Linnmon desk that takes up a big space and I also have a couple of storage units next to and behind the desk. However, my office is far from perfect and there’s loads more I would do with it if I could like moving the cat’s huge scratching post/ house somewhere else! That aside, I do have a bit of a home office wishlist going on right now! I am a big

Epson EcoTank ET-7750 Review

Working from home and having a pretty busy life means needing as many things as possible to keep us organised. Erin has started nursery now and we sometimes get emailed calendar dates and school activities that will be happening soon and I really like to have these things printed out for both me and John. To make our lives a bit easier we were recently sent the Epson EcoTank ET-7750 printer. Now, until recently I didn’t know what an EcoTank was so many other people might not either. Unlike a regular printer, the EcoTank works with a different ink system. Instead

Home Office Designs When Working From Home With A Family

When you work from home and have a family it’s a good idea to create a home office that doesn’t shut them out, but welcomes them in. While there are those times when you’ll be really under it and will need to focus, it’s wise to have a workspace that you can share with your partner and children, whether they’re toddling or in their teens. With this in mind, office furniture company, the Penketh Group, has put together some home office designs to consider and explains the different benefits they can have when home working with family. Space to work

Ikea Alex/ Linnmon Desk Review

When it came to organising some space for me to work at home the biggest thing I had to think about was the desk. I already had some great storage but no where to actually sit down and work. I needed something that would fit in a bit of a strange space, but also suit any kind of decor as we haven’t decorated in this room yet. Ikea was not my number one choice to be completely honest. I wanted something a bit less modern but after having a good look around, I finally settled on the Alex/ Limmon Table in

Storage Solutions For A Home Office

John and I are lucky in that we have a decent sized house and quite a bit of space. We have a really big open plan living room/ dining room which is L shaped, meaning I am able to have a home office in that area. My home office is absolutely perfect for what I need for blogging. However, what a lot of people don’t really know is that I spent a lot of time selling items online. For this, I have a sort of second office. We have a 4 bedroom semi detached house and we only really use
