Over the years we have discovered some wonderful BABY born products and one of Erin’s favourites is BABY born Surprise. I’m not sure I know many (near) 5 year olds that don’t love a blind bag or a surprise toy. BABY born Surprise are now on series 4 and Erin couldn’t wait to see what she got.
Each of the BABY born Surprise Series 4* babies come in a beautiful floral blind bag, with a sparkly pink organza bag as somewhere to store each one. The packaging is really beautiful and this helped Erin to get really excited about opening each one.
Once the bags have been taken off, you will reveal a swaddled baby inside and the designs are quite exciting! You could get anything from a flower to a cat. I think it’s really nice that there are 12 different characters to collect and you also get a checklist so you can see which you have already collected.
Once the babies are taken out of their swaddles you can see which one you have. They come with a hair/ head accessory, nappy and closed eyes. The eyes are easily opened by wiping over them with a wet wipe or a cloth. It’s nice that this is something that Erin could easily do herself and without any help from me. She could also check for the colour of the eyes on the checklist too!
Another thing that you can do with the BABY born Surprise is to see what patterned nappy they have. The dolls can drink real water out of the bottle that comes with them (either pink or blue) and once they use the nappy, it goes from white to reveal a pattern. This part can be a little bit tricky and it took us a little while
BABY born Surprise are such fun toys for children of Erin’s age and she spent such a long time playing with them. She enjoyed them so much that she has already asked for more for Christmas so that she can hopefully tick some more off the list!
