Isn’t the first normal day back from a holiday the worst? Our flight landed back into Stansted yesterday at 3pm and we didn’t actually step through our door until 7:30 after a 3 hour train journey home. We have never done so much travelling with Erin in one day and she was absolutely exhausted! I’m really glad that John took today off work instead of going straight back because now it means we get a day to get ourselves back to normal.
Of course, after 10 days away we have come back with a whole load of washing to do and work and nursery to get ready for tomorrow. I’m so glad we have a good washing machine that has an amazing 28 minute cycle because it means that I can get all of the washing done today and then at least it’s one of the really big jobs done.
Now that we’re back from holiday I have so many posts planned. We had a couple of days in London before we flew to Majorca so I have 2 hotels to tell you about and a couple of restaurants. Of course, I can’t wait to tell you about our holiday and to let you know what we got up to. Going abroad as a family was so much fun and as this was our first ever all inclusive holiday, so I want to write about what kinds of things you can expect. I’d really liked to have read something like this myself before we went.
Instead of being on a major downer about being home from holiday I have decided to be happy that we have another holiday in June to look forward to. A caravan at Haven is not quite the same as where we have just been but the main thing is that we are going away again to spend some quality time together as a family.
If there’s anything you’d like to know about our holiday, please let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer anything in a post!
