Creating A Cosy Corner With BeanBagBazaar

With Erin just about to turn 4 she is quickly realising that she wants different things in her bedroom. The way she uses the space now is vastly different from how she did even a year ago. She wants somewhere comfortable and cosy to chill out and relax and somewhere to sit and look at her books.

I wanted to get something that would last Erin a long time and work well for at least the next few years. We recently received the ICON™ Kenai Faux Fur Bean Bag in Arctic wolf. BeanBagBazaar also sell children’s bean bags but I wanted something that Erin could really spread out on which is why I chose this over something smaller.

Unlike with some bean bag companies, this one came ready to use in a huge box. I wasn’t looking forward to having to stuff it myself before Erin could use it but thankfully that wasn’t an issue at all. However, I wasn’t quite prepared for just how big the box would be having not paid too much attention to the actual size of the bean bag beforehand.

The bean bag was a surprise for Erin so as soon as she walked into her bedroom and saw it she squealed with delight. Immediately, she jumped on and snuggled in, asking for a book to read. The bean bag is huge compared to Erin but she really likes to be comfortable so she loved that she had loads of room and it sort of squished around her.

This bean bag has a faux fur covering, which is what makes it super soft. The Arctic Wolf colour is a mix between dark and light grey and even though Erin’s room is a sort of brown colour, it still goes really well. The bean bag is easily reshaped after a crazy child has jumped all over it and it’s so comfortable that Erin has asked to sleep in it several times.
