Getting Creative With The Nick Jr. Ready Steady Dough Super Duper Dough Set

Sometimes Erin gets into a mood where she doesn’t really want to play with toys. She’s such a creative child and she would much prefer to do something arty or crafty so I have a cupboard stocked full of things for her to do. One of her favourites though is to play with dough. She asks for it over and over again but just playing with the dough on its own can get a bit boring. Recently we were sent the Nick Jr. Ready Steady Dough Super Duper Dough Set and Erin was super excited as soon as she saw it.

On a weekend where we had just started potty training again we decided this would be the perfect thing to keep Erin busy.

The first thing Erin wanted to do was to play with the squeezy shape station. This comes with 2 slides where you can make different shapes and patterns with the dough. Having a tool like this makes it possible to make a lot of different creations and also to be much more creative.

Between the regular dough and the fantastic shapes we were able to make, Erin put together a pretty great face!

We all really liked that there was a full alphabet set of letters with this set and once Erin discovered this, she wanted to do something with them.

As Erin is only just really learning letters properly this was a good chance for us to help her learn some more. We picked out the letters that she already knew and we made patterns to go with them. We really like to encourage Erin to learn in different ways and having fun at the same time is a great way to go.

The Nick Jr. Ready Steady Dough Super Duper Dough Set is such a fun set and it will last a really long time. There is plenty of dough included and the box even shows you how to mix different colours. The accessories make it possible for children to really get creative with their creations and I can’t wait to see what Erin makes the next time we play with this.
