For as long as I can remember Erin has loved music. I think a lot of it goes back to when we did classes like Baby Sensory and Baby Yoga when she was only tiny. Having that early introduction to musical instruments stuck with Erin and now, at 3, she still loves to play with them. We were recently sent the Halilit Toddler Music Orchestra Musical Instrument set and Erin couldn’t have been more excited!
The Halilit Toddler Music Orchestra Musical Instrument set comes in a really lovely box with a carry handle so your little ones can carry it around with them. The set consists of an Ocean Drum, Baby Xylophone, Ring My Bell, Rattle Roller and Shaker Maraca.
Erin couldn’t wait to get the box open to see what was inside. We do already have some similar musical instruments but this only made Erin want to play with them more. First, she wanted to talk about how they were all different shapes and colours so really, the set does a lot more than just be different musical instruments.
This particular Halilit set is aimed at toddlers but it is suitable from 12 months old. The instruments with handles are just the right size for smaller hands and I know Erin would have been able to hold them and play with them easily at that age, just as she is now aged 3.
I think Erin’s favourite out of the 5 different musical instruments was the xylophone. She loved how the stick for it had it’s own little place on the underneath so it would be kept safe. We had a great time singing songs while playing the instruments. I used some of the instruments too while we were playing together as Erin obviously couldn’t use them all at the same time. If you’re a family with more than 1 child then this would be an ideal set for them to play with together.
