I love to find a new accessory for blogging and back in September at Blog On I fell in love with Box 51’s Peg Board, which comes from Paladone. I have a light board already and I love having options for when I create pictures for blog posts and social media and this little delight is perfect for this!
This peg board costs only £11.99 and comes with the board and 2 sets of numbers, letters and some symbols. The peg board generally is super easy to set up as all you need to do is choose what you want it to say and use the right letters. The peg board is black so the white and yellow letters stand out really well against the background.
When it comes to blogging props you can easily end up with a drawer full and forget about them… I know exactly what that is like. What I love about this peg board is that there is an easy way to mount it to a wall, end of a shelving unit, kitchen cupboard etc. At the back is a hole so that you can hang it on any hook, nail or screw very easily and move it about as and when you need to.
While I will mainly be using my peg board for blogging there are loads of other uses for them. They’d make a great way of displaying shop opening times, weekly meal plans and cute notes for your husband or children if you want to do that!
This isn’t a problem with the product itself but something you should probably think about before buying a peg board. After using mine for the first time I realised that I had nowhere to keep the letters. I shoved them in Tupperware boxes for a while but then also realised that it would take me forever to find the letter I wanted. Thanks to some advice from another blogger, I ended up ordering the Adjustable 36 Compartment Slot Plastic Craft Storage Box Jewellery Tool Container for the bargain price of £3.83. This box lets you sort out the letters and keep everything lovely and neat. A must have for any peg board owner.
At only £11.99, this is a lovely addition to my accessories kit and will really help me to create some fab pictures for my blog posts.
Do you have a peg board? I’d love to know what you use it for in the comments!
