Crazy Science At Center Parcs

Over the years we have been to Center Parcs a couple of times but Erin was always really too young for a lot of the activities. This year though during our visit in March she was 4 so able to do a lot more. While we were there my Mum booked Erin in for the Crazy Science session on the Thursday morning. The session lasts for 1 hour and you should be there 10 minutes before the start time. Crazy Science is in the activity den so it’s really easy to find.

Cupcake Decorating At Center Parcs

On our most recent trip to Center Parcs Erin was finally old enough to be able to do some of the great activities that are on offer. Due to a broken elbow that had just had a cast off we wanted to book something but nothing too boisterous. Cupcake Decorating sounded great, especially as baking was something that Erin had been doing a lot with her Grandma.

Visiting Centre Parcs in March

A couple of years ago I never thought I would be saying that Center Parcs is one of my favourite places to go on holiday. Honestly, it had never really appealed to me as I would have much preferred a city break. However, when we visited for the first time in 2017 I fell in love immediately and since then have now been back another few times. Our most recent visit was for a midweek break in March 2020. We had only ever been in October before this year so I wanted to write about

Our Family Break At Center Parcs

Last week we spent Monday to Friday at Center Parcs Elveden for a family holiday. This time when I say family though it was more than me, John and Erin though as my Mum, sister and her partner also came away with us. Last year we had a midweek break with just my sister and her partner so it was really nice that we could bring Mum this time as well. When we arrived it was lunch time so we went to the Sports Cafe for some lunch before heading off to our 3 bedroom new woodland lodge which

Center Parcs 3 Bedroom New Woodland Lodge Review

For our holiday to Center Parcs last year we only needed a 2 bedroom lodge as Erin was still able to sleep in a travel cot, which she did in our room. My sister and her partner shared the other bedroom. This year though, with my Mum coming on holiday with us and Erin sleeping in a proper bed, we had to go for 3 bedrooms and we chose the 3 bedroom new woodland lodge, rather than the regular woodland lodge.

Preparing for a family holiday to Center Parcs

Today we are heading off to Center Parcs at Elveden Forest until Friday and this is actually our second visit there now. We only went for the first time last year (the same week) but we quickly fell in love which is why we’re going back this year for a family holiday with my Mum, sister and her partner. Last year I made a couple of pretty big mistakes when it came to packing so this year I have taken a much better approach and written lists for everything. Somehow, I managed to forget my

Center Parcs Activities: Baby Owls

Our holiday to Center Parcs back in October was our first ever visit there so we were a bit unsure about what we wanted to do and what we wanted to book for Erin to do. There is so much choice for children but a lot of the activities were for ages 3 and up so for babies and under 3’s there isn’t quite as much. We chose not to book too much for Erin because we didn’t know how she would cope with being on holiday but right at the top of our list

Center Parcs Activities: Subtropical Swimming Paradise

Swimming is one of the only free activities to do at Center Parcs and if you’re looking for a holiday on a budget, this is something you really need to make the most of! The Subtropical Swimming Paradise can be found in the Sports Plaza which is right in the middle of Center Parcs Elveden Forest. This was only a 15 minute walk from our lodge and I think roughly a 30 minute walk from the lodges which were further away. Still, this isn’t a long walk and it can be made a lot easier and
