Our first family meal

Yesterday the very unexpected happened. Erin said her first word. Actually, that’s a bit of a lie. Technically she said her first word on Sunday but I wasn’t sure so I didn’t count it. Playing with an 8 month old
Erin is turning 8 months old in a couple of days. She has changed so much in the past couple of weeks. One thing I have noticed more than anything is what she is and isn’t interested in any more. Separation Anxiety: My personal hell!
I always thought I had been really careful with Erin. I had seen some parents with extremely clingy children and I was adamant that wouldn’t be how Erin turned out. Being 8 months old Erin doesn’t really ‘need’ a lunchbox. She doesn’t go to nursery or school yet. However, that doesn’t stop her from using one! Baby led weaning
When we decided to start weaning with Erin at 17 weeks we obviously started with purees. Baby led weaning wasn’t an option because she was so young.
