AD: This post is in collaboration with AO.com. Being self-employed and working from home means needing the right tools to be able to get the job done. I am lucky enough to have my own office in one of the spare bedrooms but I don’t want to be shut away all of the time. Sometimes, it’s nice to work on the couch on an evening or be able to take work away with me if we go on holiday. For this, I need a laptop and my old model has been slowly dying for a while now. AD | Gifted item Way back in the year 2000 I was 14 and busy being a troublesome teenager. Mobile phones were just becoming popular and if you didn’t have one in secondary school then you definitely weren’t part of the popular crowd. For as long as I can remember I have been overweight. I remember being 14 or 15 and comfortably fitting in size 14 and size 16 clothes. Back then though I had a lot more confidence in myself than I do now and I never cared what anyone thought of me or how I looked. Now, I’m certainly not shy and I still don’t really give a shit about what people think but I have zero self-confidence. I’m not sure when that went away but it’s slowly diminished over the years and I have never been able to regain it.

When Jackson was a little puppy he literally did try to eat whatever he could get his sharp teeth on and that included the corners of our fridge and freezers. We have galley kitchen and all under the counter appliances and he pretty much tried to eat all of them! Unfortunately, we no longer have Jackson with us as he had to be re homed and it’s time to start replacing some appliances as and when we can. This month we got
